I want this.

That would be hilarious if it happened.  The squeeze would be painful.

10 % increase? you had more than that recently.. im more interested in something much more optimistic, like 34-40%, just enough to sell, and wait for a rebuy

cheers

wasn't going to bother to post today at all what with no news and no movement but ... thanks for lumping me in with those folks (some of which are clearly nutters) ... even though i hold a double digit amount of bitcoin ... and actively trade ... and have made money off bitcoin ... i guess i deserve to be ignored because i remain critical of the numerous negative aspects and events re bitcoin ... but you see folks it's important to some to encourage people to ignore anyone who criticizes bitcoin in any way shape or form (because otherwise people would see it being criticized daily) ... better that people jam their fingers in their ears yell lalalalala and only see the positive posts right ? ... i consider telling people to ignore anyone to be intellectually dishonest and offensive ... and i personally have not and will not ever ignore anyone on this or any other forum ... you're only shutting yourself off from opinions and information that conflict with your established opinions by doing that ... also i don't usually bother to filter my thoughts as i type so i'm sure my posts come across as unnecessarily harsh when criticizing bitcoin and/or nonsense posts (especially when drinking  Tongue) ... sorry about the honesty ...

If I were the ignoring type, I would consider ignoring you simply because you don't seem to know what an appropriate paragraph is, or how to use more than one in your posts.  Undecided

He's not funny. He should try to be more funny.

My father wouldn't let me bring home any friends if they weren't funny. It's just a courtesy, really

To each their own.

Chartbuddy is probably my main reason for visiting this thread. I like the nice graphic depiction of the order books and this is the wall observer thread.

My ignore list consists entirely of MatTheTroll (stupidity and arrogance) and Trollchop (same old boring shit).

Otherwise I'm pretty much always open for a good laugh. The 50 cent sock puppet army can be especially hilarious in their ridiculous name choices and lame trolling attempts.

BTC swaps on bfx up to~23,500.  Getting closer to bear season, but I think we need at least 25K before the Big Squeeze.

Nice try with that throwback Chinese panic dump. Market giving shorts false sense of hope and dealing pain to longs with tight stops. Figures.

P.s. why today's announcement of the new bitcoin derivatives exchange is a "game changer".

This is why the announcement of a bitcoin futures-and-options broker is so exciting. Merchants will have more options to hedge bitcoin exposure which eventually could lead to fewer merchants immediately converting to fiat

And you can expect bitpay and coinbase will be using this new service!

If you could tolerate the third party risk, why not just take your cold storage coins and double down by putting them into 1 or 2 YR futures and go long?  If youbelieve long term priceis headed up, you could increase your profit w/oputting additionalcapital at risk. Also a futures market would be a much more accurate gauge on upcoming price movements than the nearly universally terrible technical analysis from Coindesk, cryptocoin news etc.

EDIT: the above link says NOTHING about the derivates exchange. Not a launch date, not a URL, not a name. nada.

Bulls had their run to try and take $250 a couple times, now bears have their chance to make a run at $220.

I think nothing major happens (220-250) until the hours before auction news.
