If I were you I would be watching the price like a hawk from this evening CET until monday morning CET. This may still blow up in either direction.

Edit: Those exuberant longs should be a worry for anyone going short as well.

When the blue/yellow lines cross, prepare for another nose dive...

Just like the time before it happened on that chart?

Uptrend has been broken.

How? Why?

Some people trade the moving average crosses.

Worth remembering XiaoXiao has been involved in bitcoin since 2011 but is still trading with less than ten coins. He should be rich so take his trading advice with a heavy pinch of salt.

Less than 100 maybe, but not less than 10 coins.  I mean stop spamming my threads bro.  I was around a bit in 2011 and then had other obligations.    I don't feel left out because I stopped paying attention to bitcoin for awhile and missed out on some of its gains.  Money isn't everything.

These lines are moving averages that are incorrectly shifted to the right. If you want to look at crossings, they should be put in the graph at the proper place in time.

I mean, its just a pattern I recognized. I admit I'm no day trader, but it doesn't take a pro to see some patterns and trends forming.

What do you mean they are incorrectly shifted to the right? How do I properly place it in the graph on bitcoinwisdom?  Thanks a lot.

I think he means it's a lagging indicator.

Not sure why a redundant and markedly less adopted coin like LTC would be a factor in the above analysis.

You're not the only one. I know altcoins tend to follow Bitcoin and mimic its movements, but Sitarow tries to predict its price from the other side, by looking at the altcoins  Roll Eyes
It's likely that some traders are moving money between the coins and investing in the ones that are pumping, but I don't think the number of such traders is large enough to dictate price.

The Altcoin volume in this recent BTC to USD price correction has been far lower then that experienced over the last month or two.

Ltc as well as a few altcoins traded on Bitfinex have always been a go to haven as some traders for one reason or another tend to trade only in crypto.

Yet the technique to use altcoins to influence prices between BTC/ALT and BTC/USD BTC/CNY to cash out large sums of alt coins at a higher price has been used and demonstrated in my past posted charts.

Here is a small volume of LTC/BTC on BTC-E from the last 48 hours.

Here is the moderate volume of LTC/BTC on Bitfinex

As far as the "floor" on this BTC/USD drop I also use the 24 hour trading volume Bought vs Sold to indicate a market trend and confidence.
We have indeed met resistance.

8:35PM EST

Check the volume on the left. Bitfinex seems to be oversold. This maybe the result of arbitrage from Bitstamp to Bitfinex. (Loaded) ?

We should definitely listen to inca, he's got a good track record

Bears back to caves. I bought on localbitcoins in the UK near the (hopefully) bottom.

Panic buying!

I think we are now in the final phase where coins can be accumulated relatively cheaply. Who knows how long it will last? I personally think we will move sharply up in the next few weeks or months.

Every day there is new positive news. The auction reinforced the friendly US position towards bitcoin. Several giant retailers have publically integrated bitcoin into their payment systems. Today it was the turn of Newegg.

Over the coming weeks and months I predict user adoption will start to move upwards sharply again. This will cause the price to rise. It will be front run by whales and big players.

It is time to speculate to accumulate! Ignore the bears and traders. Look at the big picture. Every single time in the past my only regret with bitcoin is that I didn't buy more when i had the chance.  Grin

Looks like the market is still bearish for some reason. Every good news does nothing to the price, while "bad" news (or would I say "FUD" news) make it drop like a rock.

Well some trader reacted and dumped. The price is only 20$ lower than earlier. Lets see what happens. I wouldn't call this a bearish market.

Bulls in Denial  Cheesy

Denial of what? The price is 620. We are a sneeze from 700 then each and every one of you bears will buy back in.

Right i am buying another chunk. If we go lower then ive got more Smiley

Just read the last ten pages or so. Sentiment at rock bottom. Trolls doing their thing.

Bottom must be near. Still less than 30 bucks from a 5xx handle.

Why are you bearish when the market is clearly oversold, is a huge way down from ATH in a sea of good news that only a year ago would have been predicted impossible? Sentiment is a fluid thing, if we bust back up through into the 6xx's then watch it turn on a dime.

Despite what most crypto anarchists are hoping for, the Winklevoss twins believe that Bitcoin will not replace fiat currencies anytime soon.

“There will be a future where people will use Bitcoin and they won’t even know they’re using it. At that point it’s everywhere — it’s a part of global finance, it’s a part of our everyday lives. In the same way using email was very difficult and the edge of technology … it’s always difficult, it’s problematic, it’s painful to use, and we’re at that point in Bitcoin right now. The point where we’re beyond it is the point where people don’t think of email as the bleeding edge of tech because it works so well everyone uses it … I think it’s going to get to that point. We’ll be in a situation where the majority value transferred around the world will use the Bitcoin protocol.”

how much does 1 email cost these days?

@DeadCoin

Please don´t quote the trolls. Especially not INCA, he is the most obnoxious one among all of them. All his bull-FUD spreadin and scamming attitude combined with the aggressive hateful atmosphere that he creates makes me want to leave BCT every time someone quotes him.

Thanks

Gentlemen.
To my dismay, I find myself not chilling on a well-tended tropical moonbeach, moondrink in hand, surrounded by luxury & adoring moonbabes.
What's going on???

what do you guys think loaded meant with the post if we are ready for the weekend?  Wink

So i guess Loaded meant that he will fuck the price up  over the weekend Wink

Or that something always happens at the weekend and loaded is full of shit.

Or perhaps this is just like the ocean pulling back from the shore before the tsunami.

I don't know, feels sketchy to me.

If it falls back to below 300 CAD again I will buy more. For now I just sit and wait for 32,000.
