Based on the charts it looks that BTC price is set to break $250 at some point in the near future (probably within 20-30 days)

Based on the charts it looks that BTC price is set to break $250 at some point in the near future (probably within 20-30 days) if I were optimistic I should say someone was flashing and pulling a giant sell wall at a 'legit' exchange, then trying to buy in panic at dumper's paradise BTC-e. Could all be masquerade tho. Or totally unrelated.

Low volume does that sometimes. Also arbitrage may not be able to catch up too soon there - other exchanges are faster.

How long has Bitcoin been at 220-230?
Seems like Bitcoin has been co-opted by the Banking Borg and as a result, its price is being monkey hammered just like Gold and Silver is.

Yup, btc-e has had quite a big bid wall recently.
Are they still solvent? Is there any reason that you assume they can not be solvent?

Good morning Bitcoinland. Still flat at around $230 I see.
While this might be boring to the point of extra coffee, it's a good thing in the long run.
A nice slow steady climb up is best.
Let's see what the weekend brings.

Are they still solvent? Bitcoin exchanges and (some) bitcoin miners are perhaps the only companies that are actually profitable at the moment. Even zero-fee exchanges have many other ways of extracting money from their users. Even MtGOX would have made hundreds of millions of dollars of profit, if it wasn't for the mysterious disappearance (or inexistence) of the BTC in its client accounts.
