I doubt BTS is gonna stay under 1 cent USD much longer. After that press and what's happening now shit is going to explode. Finally it's good to see some innovation in the Crypto world. Mainstream adoption is around the corner my friends.

Hey Blazin, I'm happy to see you bullish around BTC as I've some questions to ask if you don't mind my friend. 1. Bitshares, is it a cryptocurrency or industrial-grade financial smart contract platform ? 2. How will Bitshares benefit BTC ? 3. Why you are bullish on BTC ? I would like to hear your reasons (Don't worry, permabull here )

Is Gemini closed over the weekend, or just zero interest?
Of course it's not closed over the weekends. You can see the level of interest from the trades that occurred during the last 17 hours. The biggest trades were for 3 bitcoins, 2.12 bitcoins, and 4 bitcoins. All the other trades were for amounts below one bitcoin. Trades for 0.02 bitcoins make up the majority of trades. The trade for 0.00 bitcoins must have been for an amount below 0.01 bitcoins. gemini 0.32 15 minutes ago 246.3 gemini 4.00 15 minutes ago 246.5 gemini 0.07 17 minutes ago 246.0 gemini 0.40 17 minutes ago 246.0 gemini 0.40 17 minutes ago 246.0 gemini 2.12 17 minutes ago 246.3 gemini 0.08 14 hours ago 246.3 gemini 3.00 17 hours ago 246.0 gemini 0.02 17 hours ago 246.0 gemini 0.02 17 hours ago 246.0 gemini 0.91 17 hours ago 246.3 gemini 0.02 17 hours ago 246.0 gemini 0.02 17 hours ago 246.0 gemini 0.02 17 hours ago 246.0 gemini 0.30 17 hours ago 246.0 gemini 0.02 17 hours ago 246.0 gemini 0.02 17 hours ago 246.0 gemini 0.00 17 hours ago 245.8 gemini 0.02 17 hours ago 246.0 gemini 0.02 17 hours ago 246.0 I am waiting 4 days now for my USD deposit to finalize. The key for Winkel twins is if they have a cost structure to carry them for a couple of years while volume catches up. I think the exchange will operate in the red for a long time, but they are positioned very early in this game and if they can keep the lights on they will win in the end.

Someone please remind me, in case I missed it, why does this happen on OKCoin? On huge volume the price barely moves, then on low volume we have this drop (or the previous pump)?

I think he means because on October 8 the price was 244 and now Monday, October 12 it's already jumped to 245. The rocket has left the launchpad.

I wish that those totally useless "bitcoin news" sites would investigate and report on this issue, if only by asking the exchange owners about those spikes. On a couple of occasions, I have seen a huge sell order flash on the OKCoin order book, just at the top of the spread, only to be immediately and precisely eaten by a matching buy order. They may be trades arranged in advance, set to happen at a predetermined price or time. I seem to recall, several years ago, an announcement by some exchange that they were implementing "shadow" book orders, that are invisible to most ordinary clients. Perhaps they just started showing shadow-book trades on the ordinary ticker, to boost their public volume numbers...

I think it's a way to facilitate OTC trades without paying broker fees. It enables parties who don't necessarily trust each other to exchange without the "you send the money first, no you send the coin first".
