Are you sure?

It's nowt more than a proposal at present and I don't think the average Russian bothers following the law if it doesn't suit them. Their government doesn't either.

I suppose flash crash lines are useful if you're trading margin, but for the rest of the world, especially if you actually want to buy some, it's this.  If China can't hold 350, it's going to test 340, then go to 330 as backup.  The bots about 8 hours ago were buying anything and everything under $335 in China, so it should hold pretty high.  No point really in just dumping everything when we're on uptrend anyway that will hit 500+ for halving.  This is a clear case of knowing what the bots are doing is far more useful than any form of TA.

Mmmm maybe, I was hoping for dumpstyles, I don't want the accumulation stage to end, so I'm still optimistic that we will see massive correction back to 230...

Realistically, at least I think it's not going ballistic. 300-400 is the new 200-300,

6 months of bouncing in the 3-4 hundred range still be fine, slowly creeping up to 500 around the time of the halving, 6-9 months after that I just hope we can stay below 5000.

i think we'll stay in this order of magnitude randomly bouncing up and down, with a pretty clear upward drift, then all of a suddenly we are going to shoot for that 32,000$.

the way i see it once we break 1000 its for a good reason, like bitcoin in the news as a safe haven from the world economic crisis, we'll see the Fiat world crumble and at the same time we'll have big banks and institutions proclaiming bitcoin as the solution / natural evolution of money. shit is going to go wild, with bitcoin as the official future of money we can EASILY see 1000 - 5000 $ in a week.

Working on the eleventh consecutive green candle on the 12 hour chart,

I'd like to see a comparison of Oct-Nov 2013 overlayed with the same months from this year...

Happy if it stayed around here for the next month or so, rising to $500 by mid jan. When you look at blockchain charts, it seems adoption is still proceeding steadily.

I agree on that part. the Russians are also crazy pulling this off seeing that buying bitcoins means jailtime for them. Seems like buying is synchronous now from all parts of the world. Roll Eyes

Too soon. I'd like to see that after the next halving, in 2020.

As low as possible for as long as possible.

IMO, China floor = 2115 yuan ($335) and average price if it stops will be sideways at 2150 ($340).  American arb might then drag China down to $330 over the course of days.  Maybe they will keep pushing higher though.  China might want to go to $400.

it's supertrap time  Sad
i sell my Bitcoin at price $290 some day ago
and now price $330  Sad Sad Sad Sad
Selling during a rally prior to an imminent-ish halving is what it is at this point. The chance you take when you want meager profits rather than holding and keeping the stack growing. My only short is taking in some litecoin because it has proven to make waves when the BTC does its thang. That's a major loss to be buying back in at but you have no choice unless you think the sky will fall again. It might but then again....

Do as the Russian's do: http://coin.dance/charts

Well, that is another possible explanation for the rally of the last 30 days: the Russians are stocking on bitcoins, by buying at their Localbitcoins, before the new law goes into effect.

If I understood correctly, new law is going to criminalize the trading of bitcoins in Russia -- that is, local exchanges and Locabitcoins.  It cannot do much about Russians using bitcoins for illegal payments, or truly private trade (not going through Localbitcoins).  Hence, it seems to me that Russians who will not be able to use BTC-e (or are afraid of being tracked if they do) will try to buy at Localbitcoin as much as they can, while they can.

Nasdaq August tweet comes to pass.  He made no mention of XT dragging it down, so I guess it's an even safer haven than he imagines heh:
