There's a 8% spread between China and the rest of the world, and everybody's sleeping here. Western exchanges seemed to be hesitant on following China's prices as it seemed to be fake. I wonder why arbitragers can't close this gap even up to 3% too. Traditional money moves way too slow. And there's no spread on BTC/LTC.

I wonder why arbitragers can't close this gap even up to 3% too. One can have his doubts about the immense volume at Chinese exchanges. But to also doubt the prices is something else. If arbs can't close the gap (while the prices are real), it means that they are out of USD for the weekend, or that the CNY-USD exchange rate is fake. Occam's razor would point to the first, which means that an upward correction on the Western exchanges is to be expected after the weekend (if at least 10% of the Chinese volume is real, that is.)

arbs can can only move so much from one side to the other before their funding gets exhausted .... then they need the arb to go the other way to move the funds back ... seems like moves like these and weekend fiat transfers have exhausted everybody.

Yep. Tomorrow fresh fiat will hit exchanges and the gap should close a bit (at least that gap between Bitstamp and Bitfinex). Personally I'm looking if it is possible to convert Tether USD (Bitfinex) to Ripple USD (Bitstamp). If the gap continues this could bring some money People also get their salary. this will be exciting.

If the gap continues this could bring some money You had to give Rippletrade your KYC documents by yesterday at the latest to continue using the wallet. You can buy and sell Bitstamp Bitcoin IOUs on Rippletrade, but I don't know if Tether USD has been integrated yet. I haven't used it lately partially because they started asking for KYC, and partially because the client freezes on my computer.

bitcoin will follow
It is going up. If you look at the last 12 months you can see it. Yes saw it, if we bubble it will lift off. What's interesting with blockchain trend, it goes up on workdays and down on weekends.

In Ghana? Add time span 90days and Ghana disappears. It's not Ghana searching. Then check cities, it's new yorkYork, London and Singapore. Bank cities.

I changed it to 7 days, and Ghana is still the 2nd result, all from a single city. Someone in Akkra has a stuck F5 key, or is it a popular VPN end-point ?

Don't know, maybe it's an important city in Africa... nevertheless you can filter by region like usa or great Britain and we go up in all important regions
