I was too impatient and bought at too high a price this morning Tongue

Seems we are above that now Smiley

You still buying?

I am hesitant to buy above 400 CAD...

I am wait, hope Tami is right, this is not the end for accumulation period.

I hope...

I bought 3 times above 300.  303, 311 and today @ 319 for small amounts.  Because each time I felt the price was going up short term and so far it has.  Long term I think we all know where it's going.  If tarmi is correct I will happily buy more.

@ r0ach,  For most of the past year I couldn't buy much as I have had a rough few years and had to dig myself out of unexpected debts.  I'm sure I have nowhere near what many here have or what I would like to have.  Hence why I bought today while I had a bit of fiat.

I believe we did already see the top so I'm holding on to my short for now.
Cute buy wall at $330 though.

Did the bubble burst? I hope it did because I went short at 2200. Shocked

Using bit-coin is intuitive and simple. Fig. 1 depicts a team of Bit coin enthusiasts explaining the basics of operating a 'bit~coin wallet' (not to be confused with the 'bitcoin address') to a young couple they've recently snared at a 'BitCoin meet-up.'

So what happens if we make a new high say break above 335 on stamp? Are you going to cover your short and concede for at least a short while? We just hit 329 a few minutes ago so not far off.

It seems to me that this recent day or so pullback has already ended by traders aggressively buying. FOMO is strong

Ever since January the strategy of buying a little each paycheck has so far paid off. If block size debates are settled (I think they will be) and once supply is cut in half I think price will continue to rise...

It's just difficult when you look at purchase history and see buys at  271, 289, 315 etc and then think that buying at 420 is a good idea...

If it continues to rise unabated then of course, it would be a good decision. I'm just speculating that it's too soon. Too far ahead of the halving. I think hope we have one more big dip before final takeoff...

(Errr, corrected 'think' for 'hope')

Back up to the $330 range
Looks like it might push to the next level, right now it seems like the pullback has stabilized again
Either way it will be even more interesting to watch whether it goes to $350 soon.

I highly doubt there will ever be a short squeeze.

The amount of BTC swap is low, and we don't know what price they sold the BTC at? It could of been at $1100 USD.

I also think a large portion of these BTC shorts is simply mining farms trying to get a future price for their mining revenues for the next few months.

Long squeeze is a different story.

The poll is outdated. We are about to test 340 again, so only one option might make some sense.
All below 330 has already been broken last week

We know about 5k were borrowed and (very likely) dumped around 315-320, probably in an effort to trigger a reversal.

Your point about mining farm hedging is a good one, and I agree that $24.5mil in longs dwarfs 20k borrowed btc.

If miners are selling short way ahead or using futures to hedge, the effect of the Halving will impact the market much earlier.
