Heh...looks like some people sold/shorted at this high price and are hoping some block chain panic will send it back down.
I think people got tired of that being in every thread. Not so scary anymore to anyone who's spent 5 minutes looking into it.
Or... some people have been quite long for a long time, and they have real concerns about what happens if we actually receive the adoption we seek. This comment is like the ones where you get accused of selling or being short for having concerns about this rally being fueled by chinese MMM victims. Sure, seeing big gains is fun, but it doesn't mean you (should) turn off your brain and start posting girl's bottoms and moon rockets.

guys if you are short this right now I got a baaaaad feeling on this one ..... like that scene in Platoon when they are in the foxholes at night and they can hear the gooks shuffling around out there in the jungle and just know that they are surrounded, outnumbered and all hell is about to break loose and never know whose hole is going to explode with the first grenade
i never expected us to be forming a base at 340! ... it's heading up and could be explosive breakout, no wanting to jinx but hearn's desperation means that old XT FUD dump trick of Andresen Horowitz failed this time

... but we cannot act as if there is NO significance because in fact, the exchange is including the use of fiat currencies.
Just explaining what people usually mean when talking about 'velocity of money,' NOT telling you how to act, not bothering NObody, just mending my Primus. If you do NOT like the conventional definition, you do NOT have to use it, which is to say, feel free to NOT use it if you do NOT like it. Wow - NLC replying to JJG while channelling JJG - that is funny

A Chart with monthly candles looks really nice.
Where do we get one of those?
Is there any service that includes monthly BTC candles?
Tradingview.com Their basic service is free. Fancier stuff like custom time intervals, side-by-side charts, intraday P&F, Kagi and Renko charts require a monthly fee. And you can do cool things like this: Reverse Bitcoin accumulation range!

That means, consensus changes, like CHECKLOCKTIMEVERIFY or blocksize must have wide technical consensus.
there was no consensus on CLTV, yet it simply got merged. Why? It's needed for lightning network. Simple as that.

If you want to reply to BTCDrak, you should probably do it in the same forum he posted in. I don't know if he will read your response here.
I don't. I was addressing a comment that was posted in this forum. Neither when I get into a discussion about the Affordable Care Act, do I get on the phone to Obama. Your response did not address anything I posted. It addressed the content of BTCDrak's post, which I simply provided a link to. ...? You posted a link and referred to it as "a well-reasoned response". That's a statement. Don't be surprised if someone here has an opinion about it. That's correct, but that is not what his post addressed. I don't think anything in his post even suggests that BTCDrak's response was not well-reasoned - just that he personally disagrees with the content of that post. He obviously wanted to talk about the post you firmly supported; and you decided to shut him down. If you think he had a point, why not admit it. I'm pretty sure he doesn't give a flying fuck anymore, but I am baffled by this. What is it with core fans that makes them unable to provide proper thought through arguments whenever someone tries to peel off some poorly applied veneer of reason? I think I saw one properly thought through argument from a 1mb-supporter (I think his nick was Holiday). All the rest, from Waldemar and gmaxwell to brg444 and hdbuck, is just waffle and personal attacks.

A Chart with monthly candles looks really nice. Where do we get one of those? Is there any service that includes monthly BTC candles? https://www.tradingview.com/chart/BTCUSD/Go to "Expand BTCUSD chart" and select "1M (one month)" time frame. Thank you. I was able to find the one month view. That perspective is really interesting.

I didn't "shut him down" - you credit me with far more power here than I possess, I think I just suggested that if he really wanted to respond to Mr. BTCDrak he should probably do so in the forum where Mr. BTCDrak might actually see his reply.
