Good morning Bitcoinland. Quite the merry ride yesterday. Surge up to $570, crash down to $512, and correct back to where we were a day ago. Overall, the price ended up slightly higher. This is good for everybody: lots of volatility for the daytraders and a slow drift upward for the holders. Win-win.

Not sure why well known bears are laughing & posting smilies. I highly doubt they would have expected or been prepared for the rise we've had.
I guess many shorters are under water now.

it makes labor more expensive in the US too, basically exporting jobs to, guess where, china, where it just got cheaper to produce goods. It also keeps jobs in China, as they had been losing labour competitiveness for around a decade mostly due to Yuan appreciation.

I don't think you understand bear mentality. The main difference between bears and bulls is how they see each other. Bulls see the noble bear as an enemy, something to rage against. The superior, rational bear is far more pragmatic, and sees you for what you really are: food. http://s33.postimg.org/8yz16smpb/1b5ff940_a923_0133_39b4_06e18a8a4ae5.gifP.S. Intelligent bears aren't always shorting. Most of the time the bears are hibernating in the safety of fiat, doing nothing. Occasionally, they see an opportunity to make some money by shorting, so that's what they do.

Because that's what children do when they understand they're losers.

Maybe it's the beating-your-head-against-the-wall effect. It feels good when you stop. After a week of daily price surges, it's almost leveled out. The rise from $438 to $570 had to be exhausting for bears.

Most of the time the bears are hibernating in the safety of fiat, doing nothing. Most of the time the bulls are hibernating in the safety of fiat bitcoin, doing nothing. Now look at bitcoin chart and tell me who is the loser?

Because that's what children do when they understand they're losers. Indeed, until the realization of their denial sets in. Then they throw a tantrum.

Nah, that was fine, stet, you're not thinking straight. UR a herbivore, you wacky vomit-chewer, you don't eat meat (other than when humans grind up your young and feed them to you). Which is probably what happened, since that's the primary cause of the dreaded mad cow disease. Please turn yourself in to the nearest slaughterhouse to be destroyed right away. Go go go!

Then there's lamb, almost as delicious as bearmeat. Too bad bulls are too tough to eat, so they have to use cows and steers. _________ Meanwhile Bitcoin pushes back up toward $550.
