I wonder how much all this has cost the Winklevii.
Maybe there is a lesson here. Why go asking for permission when you already have an asset which doesn't require it? This ETF never made sense to me from the start. The only argument I've ever seen for it is so people can put their 401k in "Bitcoin". They had tons in bitcoin when it was cheap. Remember when this ETF was announced? They made enough on bitcoin where this doesn't matter. |

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Bitcoin is really showing strength, We are at like 1170 before, now at 1090 only...
China and Japan are still sleeping tho its ok stevenirving, we won't tell your wife LOL. Just kidding i'm sure this will go back eventually to 1300s I was just driving home and she called me screaming. Its too late  |

Me too, but buy price at bitonic.nl actually went up during the dip because there margin is increased when price moves a lot. This dip lasted way too short for me to be useful. |

If you look at stamp and finex their is way more on the buy side then sell side.. About double..
Glad it didn't drop too bad, I doubt it will be dropping much more if not going back up a bit..

I think any denial of a Bitcoin ETF would be nearly 100% politically-motivated. It would mean that they (Governments? World Powers?) simply don't want Bitcoin recognized as a legitimate long term financial instrument.
Could this be more true now? |
