Cool. Just caught the dip and bought $1000CAD worth when it was below $4kUSD. It can go up now. Got A Nice amount of fiat as wel ready to buy the dip , But Allmost thinking of buying BTH in Its run Haha BUT no stick with my original plan buy A Nice dip of btc only thinking to buy now or want A little Any suggestions ? Seems like this BCH train is a nice ride to have... for now. Sadly I missed its last halt so I will just go sleep and check where both trains are tomorrow Doubt BCH pump will end there though... Me either. It now 18days, BCH is now taking the third position in market and currently BCH have been extremely bullish. Besides, it also gain the attention of people including the miners due to it profitable to mine.

Oh, fuck, I didn't remember I was doing some arbitrage between exchanges during the first few days. It looks like I was buying on another exchange while simultaneously selling on others for a higher price:

So... hmmmm, It looks like I still have much more than 50% BCH.
It seems that I will have to try each and every exchange to see where I left some more of those useless BCH.

People that buy BCH with bitcoins or fiat, even as a speculative short term play, are not in their right mind. Very soon they'll be introduced to the concept of bagholding!

I for one have started to migrate my coins out of their old private keys slumber. I'm tired of being forced to own fork coins.
+1 At 20% it'd be rude not to. It's cheaper for Roger to spam the chain than buy all this crap

its just that evil always triumphs because those without any ethical code have more freedom of action than those whose behavior is constrained by their innate sense of justice

Although her daughter has passed the age of 7 now, so pretty soon she'll file for divorce and take half his shit.
Not how it works in France, we're a civilized country. She would maybe get good alimony, or maybe not, since she doesn't need it anyway.

Do you realise that "spending" the coins is a taxable event?
No. If you don't convert, you don't need to pay anything at least not in Europe. Or are you just counting on they never figuring it out you did?
Good luck with that one. but, again, usually you do know what USD/EUR value you sold for. Now, declare accordingly, you shaddy criminal!
Are you telling me that every time I pay food delivery via BTC I have to visit the tax man? Yes, you should..... Maybe I am also counting on them not figuring out. But a taxable event is a taxable event, no matter what you think. I will give you an easier example, in Europe: You are European. Your currency is EUR. You exchange now 100.000€ for $117.000. Now you sit on it for a couple of years. Now your dollars are worth more EUR an you use them to buy a house that is worth 120.000€. Ok, you are suppossed to pay for 20.000€ capital gains. Get it now? Of course, it is very unlikely they get you if you don't declare. But you are a shaddy criminal anyways Usually you'd use an investment vessel to do that, or a forex broker. They would directly communicate with the taxman.

I don't think panic about BCH is justified. My idea is that a few factors are at work.
Some bad guys are rehearsing the big pump&dump that will take place with the 2x fork.
The miners are rehearsing touch&go. It is mildly profitable at the moment, while BCH price is being kept high.
I think this situation can't go on much longer. BCH doesn't have hodler culture. My guess is most holders of BCH are just people that got a windfall and are either being lazy, prudent, greedy or all of the above. If I could sell my BCH at 0.50 BTC, without the hassle of swiping all my addresses first, with a reliable BCH client happy to do the splitting job for me, my finger would be on the sell trigger.
Putting real fiat or - god forbid! - BTC into BCH? No way. New money's coming into BTC already, more is due soon. I don't think they'll be eager to flood BCH with fresh money.
Wait and see is just the course of least resistance for me.

A civilized country is an oxymoron. We're all savages.
Basically agreed, but it's not a 0/1 thing. There are varying degrees civilization for different aspects of civilization.

The spartans were civilized as fuck. Seriously. Read gates of fire, and if so inclined, On Sparta by Plutarch. Some of their legal and cultural ideas would be massively useful for us today.
