Oh? Is that right? So if there is a pattern of a poster (whether newbie or not) putting out random posts to attempt to inspire panic selling or talking their books, we should just tolerate that kind of ongoing nonsense and seeming trolling?
Sure, there are not enough hours in the day to call out all of the book talkers, but some of these folks, such as jojo69 - puts out these nonsubstantive posts that attempt to get folks to panic by suggesting that the price is inevitably going down or suggesting that hodlers should sell after the price had already substantially corrected - which nearly a sure-fired means of causing some folks to panic sell and possibly at the bottom or near the bottom.
You know Jay, I have really tried to avoid getting into conflict with you as I think your heart is in the right place and I feel that we largely agree on the big picture.Could be, except when you have a series of post that seem to be spinning corrections as if they are inevitable and seem to be attempting to persuade folks to sell, so whether that is book talk or not, it comes off as book talk that is attempting to get folks to act. No? We all know they ("the folks") don't listen to you two knuckleheads. They mostly listen to me... Especially when I give my special bat signal of enthusiasm that its going up! up! up! .. or pUmp! pUmp! pUmp! ... ... they listen to me cuz I give good advice! I'm like the cheerleader that gives you advise and you must do the opposite thing! (even if I do this on purpose for those who follow me for a long time on this forum) And you can check my history of proof, everything is time stamp approved! ... Each time, 15-30 mins after, everything goes b00m!!! *edit(0): Even now... its a double, double deception, "talking about Up on purpose, to signal its not" ... ofc.. its going $75 - 125$ a bit down then its going back on track.

For a good time, google the usernames of those you see here (or anywhere). You'll be surprised to see what else they do.

I see a lot of intelligent exchange of arguments. That means we can't be in a bubble extreme yet

There is a joke around here about buying a boat. I think I'm the butt of that joke. My father is a sailing fanatic that had to sell his sailboat a couple of years ago. Made him very sad. He had saved some money to buy a new (used) one, but not enough to buy it before the summer. I loaned him about 2BTC in early June with fiat I had planned to use to buy the dips. I knew I was going to probably lose on this, it's a free loan anyway, but I didn't think it would be quite that much. The 2BTC could now almost buy the whole boat !
At least my father is happy, there is that.

But yeah, sell because of the ICO ban kool-aid drinkers. I will likely move to Tahiti next year and will likely live on a boat.

I'll tell you right now... Take the part which I've underlined as an example: Here we are. Dalia Blass is named Director of the SEC’s Division of Investment Management on August 31 and we just saw a massive rally again. But now there’s no more hype machine to get the Crypto-sphere going, PLUS it’s time for the new SEC Director to ‘put up or shut up’ and anything other than immediate ETF approval means immediate dumping of Crypto.
BTC has gone from nothing to 5k without any ETF. All the delays and rejections never halted its progression. All the scenarios that BTC would dump due to ETF-denial have failed in the long-run... Why? Because this kind of thinking is too american-centric, in a sense that everything revolves around what the US does. It doesn't. BTC is global. The BTC equivalent is the global gold market, not a wall street stock or US-based security. Countries may allow or ban gold buying for periods of time, but the effect is always absorbed by a global market.

Do you have room for me ? Tahiti is one possible destination for me too, being French no immigration hassle, I would keep my social security etc.

This is Robert J. Smilers definition of a bubble, from https://www.nobelprize.org/nobel_prizes/economic-sciences/laureates/2013/shiller-lecture.pdf"A situation in which news of price increases spurs investor enthusiasm which spreads by psychological contagion from person to person, in the process amplifying stories that might justify price increase and bringing in a larger and larger class of investors, who, despite doubts about the real value of the investment, are drawn to it partly through envy of others’ successes and partly through a gambler’s excitement." Its interesting to note that his definition says nothing about the underlying truths or value of the asset. By this definition alone I think Bitcoin could be called a bubble, the problem is that the definition doesn't mention anything about the true value, just perception, and we all know that Bitcoin newbies struggle to put a real value on Bitcoin as there are no decent real world analogies.
