If you haven't already, make sure to stake your address. Best thing you can do to protect your account.

And $4700? Today is a good day.

I'm glad I bought my coin back at a slight loss around 4300 that I had stupidly shorted. No correction in near sight. Only great news everywhere. Something feels strange. Where is all the FUD? That BCH thing has already gotten old.

segwit2x

My guess is that segwit2x won't even happen. Doesn't make sense, following the great success of BTC (segwit activated without any problems etc). Maybe if there will be some technical hiccups (I very much doubt it).

Do i remember correctly that this GBTC thing was about 1/10th Bitcoin per Share or something? Meaning at the current price they sell 1Bitcoin für ~10.000USD? Cheesy

What bothers me the most is, that these massive runs haven't had decent pullbacks in the recent days. There is accumulating a lot of steam i'm afraid of...

Or on the other hand, maybe that is just what is happening when all this institutional money is coming in Grin  Cheesy

Anyway, now is the second part of the plan. Wu is buying thousands of bitcoins to lift the prise up to a certain point he decided to go. The same traders who lost their profit before, now are like the flies going to the light bubble just to get burned. At some day and hour Wu will start selling hard to bring the price incredibly low - below 3K or even lower. The illiterate traders will think that something 'bad' happened with bitcoin and lose big time (again). The only difference is that this time no one can tell what the outcome of this evil plan will be. Until markets decide which is the 'real' bitcoin, the price volatility will be huge.

If this is the way things are, I reckon Wu & co. will burn themselves more than they did with the BCH thing.
Just for starters, exchanges don't want to deal with chains without replay protection.

Exacto

0.09258535 BTC per share

Out of kilter

174,174 bitcoins held in fund, x $4723 =  $822623802 / 1,868,700 (shares outstanding) =  $440.21 per share

However

...the GBTC price is currently $1,050.00   which is just shy of 140% premium

An early but splendid good morning Bitcoinland.

Another day another ATH... currently $4740USD/$5955CAD (Bitcoinaverage).

The surprising thing is that AltcoinCash is also up... $595USD/$752CAD (Coinmarketcap).

A great day for those of us who hold both.

Go Bitcoin go.

BTC at yet another ATH. Yawn.

I wonder how much it's costing Roger to keep BitCH above $550.

I reckon this whole shabang is costing a group of people upwards of half a million a day - at least

Number pulled straight outta my ass.

There is writing on the wall here...

Two messages...

1) This fund is whacky AF - and it is out of kilter...   Shocked Shocked  (fishy fishy fishy)

2) BTC price should fall somewhere between  current price  ($4707) and current implied price via GBTC ($10,500)  so maybe $7000 ish is where the  market wants to be at.   (should why ? just because alright jezzus! leave me alone lol)

GS will probably sell a bunch during a period of low volume to trigger a dip. They have a reputation as to uphold after all.

I doubt the dip will last very long.
