ATH reason: FUD'sters (China, JP Morgan, and probably some another angry bankster) played all their cards, bad news stopped and then price can continue creeping up until we reach another ATH

I prefer to gauge BCH against BTC, and it almost looks like they've been pegged since over a month. A lock that seems a little artificial.

My guess : the time it will take for the Chinese citizens to find out how to circumvent the government meddling. And since they are very creative in that, (the only creativity they have),
I would say pretty fast. So my guess : october 15. 

New all time high comes in on October 7th in my opinion. Gives Bitcoin enough time to have people gather more Bitcoin from the dip and push the price higher. Maybe this drop will last longer though, who knows...

$5000 is a high bar to hit, it may take some time. Black Friday might put people in the mood and with US stock exchanges closed, might be time for another crypto rally, mirroring 2013.

I'd say November 6th.
Why: the next ATH will likely be in the 6000-6800 range. Most technical analysts (not that I am one) think it will take 4-5 weeks to recover to 5000. I am guessing there will be some consolidation/ups&downs before the previous ceiling can be broken for good, and a couple weeks more for the upward momentum to let up so the ATH is fixed. I picked the 6th because it's a Monday - a good day for ATHs.

If the PBoC really intends to shut down the Chinese exchanges for a brief period of time in October, that can only mean one thing.

That some global tomfuckery shenanigans are about to go down in Oct/Nov. timeframe or perhaps Q1 2018, and that they don't want a stampede IN to bitcoin.
