I'll tell you who is buying - Everyone I talk to now in real life, like a mortgage broker, and mention that I do "trading" - they say "oh have you heard about bitcoin? Do you think I should get in?"
NONsense. Less than one percent of the total world population owns any quantity of bitcoins. I would guess, it is way below one percent, what is your source?

Before everyone dumps their BTG, can we atleast try to see it surpass bcash
Deal. I’m in 🤪 Count me in as well and me! Ditto. Dump all your BCH for BTG. Hell, I may even start mining or buying the stuff (BTG) just so I can see Ver/Wu/CSW/McAfee camp suffer... let's make those Bitcoin Gold boyzz richer than Ver. And someone plz fork BCH like 5 or 6 times.... that would be great. Yupp, I've got an old computer with a broken HD standing in the corner. I know for sure that Santa is bringing me a new harddrive, and then I'm gonna start mining BTG.

Starting to feel the same way as I felt back on the MtGox Peak in 2013. The world is mine... Too euphoric. Also seeing too euphoric comments everywhere... Hope this one will not end up like back then...
Yeah... I hate to also be that guy, but it does feel almost exactly the same: Nov 2013: Bitcoin dips from 800 to 600, then takes off. (First selloff) Check Nov 2017: Bitcoin dips from 8000 to 6000, then takes off. (First selloff) Check Nov 2013: Bitcoin breaks 1000. Euphoria ensues. Check Nov 2017: Bitcoin breaks 10000. Euphoria ensues. Check Nov 2013: Bitcoin starts jumping 8-10% per day. Check Nov 2017: Bitcoin starts jumping 8-10% per day. Check Dec 2013: Bitcoin hits 1150, then majorly crashes. Major FUD bad news that no one anticipated comes out of left field. Check Dec 2017: ?? Well if history repeats, it's not like anyone didn't know... Crossing my fingers that this time it really is different. Relax, this aint 2013-2015 with all those hacks/scams. The hardest part has left behind uss the Segwit 2x cancel was the last obstacle. Bitcoin is much more mature so i dont think the price will drop with a whopping 80% followed with a multi year brutal bear market.

Except Wall Street wasn’t picking up the ball in 14 days time back in 2013.
You mean you don't remember all the "Wallstreet is coming in!" bullish talk back in Nov 2013? I do. In fact Barry Silbert was constantly tweeting such things daily, and Novogratz was being interviewed by the MSM saying "$2000 is right around the corner. I think Bitcoin will end the year [2013] at $2000+". Now look what he's out there saying. Remember that shit? Oh yeah My guess is it could get pretty spectacular if CME launches at a time when BTC is clearly overbought (in the short term) and the most obvious option is to short. That could be something really special.

https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/7fyhbw/the_great_bitcoin_bull_market_of_2017_by_trace/There are approximately 150+ significant Bitcoin exchanges worldwide. Kraken, according to the CEO, was adding about 6,000 new funded accounts per day in July 2017.
Supposedly, Coinbase is currently adding about 75,000 new accounts per day. Based on some trade secret analytics I have access to; I would estimate Coinbase is adding approximately 17,500 new accounts per day that purchase at least US$100 of Bitcoin.

I'd actually like a chance to get some moar. I don't feel like I got a fair chance in that long tough slog. I had lean years financially and bought what I could. But it wasn't quite enough, if you know what I mean. Not quite greed, but I was convinced we would get here to 10k and beyond. When you know something and can't do anything about it ... grrr

It's not like Bitcoin is the first asset with exponential growth, and it's certainly not going to be the last one.

Und how do we know zat ziz iz not a scam? dat you dun't! but, iz for der kidders! fuck man, if we're being charitable, i'd really like to stop borrowing from my retired parents every couple weeks to make ends meet... fucking stupid US wage laws and costs of living and medical being so high that i haven't seen a primary care doctor or dentist in my adult life... my own fucking stupid choices back in 2013 that leave me with .00039btc... ARGH. ahem. sorry. i'm both overjoyed at the action these days and incredibly depressed by it when i look at how long i've been "in the know" as it were, and how i've... well, failed royally, repeatedly.

Und how do we know zat ziz iz not a scam? ask anyone in the German subforum, mate. some guys have donated $30k. it all started with a bet I won. before I knew I would win I made a statement that I would donate the 0.5 btc if I would win to poor children. and put my 0.5 btc on top of it. then people started to donate. then it went crazy the last few days. i am also the guy who came up with the btc1k party. (which we had to call off, but all participants got their bitcoin back.)

Crossing my fingers that this time it really is different. Feels more like March/April 2013: the blossoming of spring after a long, enduring winter. Looking behind ourselves for the path forward is sure to wrong-foot us eventually, however.
