Seems like an excellent time to pick up BTC and move off Gox, unless I'm really missing something...
Either way, nice to see some action again for a change.
Any time in the last YEAR has been an excellent time to move off gox.

lol Its almost certain there will be an opportunity to buy below 137 if/when $138 falls. Plus it took so long for this 1.2k wall to go away, its not exactly re-assuring.

if you take away all the bad calls i've made, unbelievably good!that made me smile thanks That's the purpose of 99% of Adam's posts. Plus, in 2012 he said that BTC was going to be traded above $100 this year, and pretty much everybody laughed at him. Prudhon even bet 10 BTC against that happening. As we all know Adam won, he was absolutely right, but at the end didn't want to take Prudhon's money. This is a true story, I'm on my cell now but I'm sure somebody can find the link. Morale of the story: historically the most radical permabulls* have ALWAYS been right both in the mid and in the long term. *we will have to exclude rpietila, that case falls in the realm of delusions and mental sicknesses.

How is your track record?
Adam was a bear earlier this year at $20. It might have made some very specific bearish calls for the very short term, mostly as a joke, but our good old adam is the prototypical permabull, you can't deny that

How is your track record?
Adam was a bear earlier this year at $20. I was hoping to sell high and buy low ( which i had been doing, quite successfully, with a small % of my holdings ) the bubble took me off guard. I started selling at 20, and sold more and more on the way up to 25, after that i was like " dear god what have i done, i only made 110% profits " truth is I do not regret it, I bought more than i could afford to lose(which isn't much) at 10$, i had no choice to sell when the value doubled...

I rest my case. Permabulls do not sell high to buy low. Trading bitcoins for anything is far too risky. They sell everything they own to purchase more bitcoins! Keep telling us that you don't regret selling at $20 what you could have sold a few months later for $266.

What makes you say that? I got this feeling too. Doing it on BitStamp again. Putting up a big Ask wall at $0.01 over whatever the highest bid is. Occasionally dropping it... putting it back up. Hasn't been working.. But it keeps the apparent spread between Mt Gox and BitStamp pretty high (in the hopes that it encourages dumpers on Gox perhaps).
