Gox still hanging around 5,000 24hr volume.

Nobody feels sorry for Gox? Not even a little bit?  Huh Huh

Jebus Rice no!  They had every chance to fix their shiz but instead they decided slamming their fingers in the car door repeatedly was a better use of their time.

Calling customers terrorists in public and reporting them to the police cuz Mark is too stupid to read his e-mail is also one of the reason why no one gives a flying fuck about Gox.

Fuck them.

Epic name change.

Now watch Gox have 100k volume tomorrow...   Cheesy

In all seriousness though, one Wall Observer for BTC/USD makes more sense to me, and opens it up to more interesting conversation.  Gox (for now, at least), Stamp (Coinbase), BTC-E.  Much more interesting and with  "the times".

I think a lot of people are going to get burned come monday/tuesday.

Hmmm. In which direction, pray tell?  Smiley

I've heard the saying: "The market always moves in the direction of the most damage".

We'll just have to wait and see now won't we? I'd say buying or selling right now is a gamble either way. As always, holding is the best strategy Smiley

Those long squeezes are perfect for USD lenders: their funds are freed and they can then buy at low prices.

In honor of the name change, Gox is now relegated to the bottom right  Grin

Huge buy walls appearing on China and Stamp.

Woohooo! Thread name change! End of an era! Beginning of a new one! The world became a better place! Let's all hold hands and dance and sing!

(just a tiny problem, volume on bitstamp right now is almost as low as on mtgox)

oh didn't you get the memo? stamp is going down, too. We're already moving all funds to btcchina.com

EDIT: since I'm getting inquiries about the status of bitstamp via PM: I was trying to make a joke.

hehe. When you own all the money it suddenly becomes rather worthless because all the people use another one.

I miss the gox era. There was more volatility and it was so easy to make winning split second reaction trades on btce based on gox movements a child could do it.

They will let us keep 0.01 BTC. Then they will pay someone another 0.01 to convince everyone to make a satoshi divisible.

How fat would the Fed's wallet become if they seized all gambling sites simultaneously and managed to acquire associated wallets?
