Ok, so we all agree that at this point anything less than $100 price swings every hour is boring?

We had a much milder bubble this time, moderated by understandable skepticism with the last one so fresh in our minds. It popped, driving Gox briefly below 600, and we're going to oscillate a bit more before stabilizing for the very short term somewhere in the 600-700 range. Then over the next 2-3 weeks we'll likely lose another $100 as the impatient pull their money, and then we wait for the next hype cycle. It will be soon; the cycles are accelerating. I'd give it 3 months. The bubble will be even more controlled next time. |
