To be honest, so far, Gox lag is saving the price probably. Who knows where it would go, people on Stamp and specially BTC-e were trading for much more following Gox, lol

The only bad thing is if they start to execute orders now.

Stamp's new engine held up beautifully   Smiley

Their trading API is timing out now as everyone rushes to the exchanges to do... whatever.

The media which carried this rally to over 1200 will crucify bitcoin now and drive the price into depression.

Yup, I think we just witnessed the popping of the third great Bitcoin bubble. I was expecting it to reach > $2000 and last another month or two personally.

I was hoping for it to reach higher also. Lets hope for a nice low bottom to scoop up more coins and then hopefully continued bubbles to 10K+ in the future.

Does that joker over there at gox really not have a cell phone?

I could believe that level of incompetence from what we've all witnessed multiple times.

When you've been through a couple of them they start to feel similar.

This is the shake-out... Just wait until the BTC conference in Vegas next Tues-Wed. I do not believe we are going to go much lower than 700 (CAD VIRTEX) on this panic selling of China news. Although, I do not expect over 1k again until January.

I am just throwing this all out of my ass btw - wishful thinking.

Bingo.  As does the lull that follows for a few weeks/months as the newer folks deal with the shell shock and then the rocket trip to the next bigger planet. Smiley

That last part never gets old, though!

On the positive side, this has to finally be the effective end of Gox as market leader. Who wouldn't pull out of there after this?
