In that case. Go full retard Risto, go full retard.

Busy doing.

Actually it seems to be holding for the 4th time!
It didn't hold last time. Gox suspended the trading with its crappy servers. It was artificially "held".

Are we sure it's server problems? I think it's a crash stop mechanism they have like traditional exchanges? E.g. if price drops a certain amount in a certain amount of time, they suspend trading? Either way, it's very annoying and blatant manipulation.

Get ready for the 700s.
Don't think you can spread enough fear, Sir, I respect your tries though!  You have like 50 posts just today trying to encourage the drop, wonder why that would be.. I don't and neither do you, but others might.

I'm sorry just looking at the charts.

I would tend to agree. We may see $600 or lower before the weekend is over.
But so what? We were at $260 30 days ago.... thirty days.

If you believe this you're really ignorant.
Were you not here when Gox looped the same trades like 10 times on the charts? When no one could get in any buys or sells because we lost track of what happened after $829?

The morons jumping in at $840 cause they think they are getting cheap coins.

Starting to think your the one Gox robbed by stopping your 5,000 coin drop, sucks to get robbed by someone doesn't it?  Going to be really hard to get back into that exit point.. exit only says some straight fellas, otherwise I'm sorry for your loss.

Yes, but an insecure major exchange is not a reason for the price to remain higher. Quite the opposite, if Gox was more reliable the price would be higher right now. You've got it totally backwards.

Sobering thoughts mate. You know it feels like months I've been looking at charts and pouring over this forum and reddit for, since $260. 30 Days. I'll be surprised if I don't get a few grey hairs because of this recent bubble.

so 850 is the new floor imo.

We saw total panic tonight and yet once we approached 850 buyers started perking up.

LOL approached 850?

Don't you mean after we got spat out of a gox failsafe loop for an hour which blocked any trading below $829? It's worth noting ever other exchange sat frozen for half an hour waiting for gox to take the lead again before making any moves back up.

poeple were trading........

It completely killed the momentum of the dip, who knows where gox would have stopped, it was certainly headed for 700.

but the deeper it falls the harder its bounces back.

stop thinking of what could have been.

How many times does Bitstamp need to bounce from 0.800 before people realize it's the new floor?  Roll Eyes Every bounce (3 so far) adds to the strength of the support, and it is already in the Titanium level, comparable to molecular's left nut.

Buying at 0.800 is better EV than buying at 1.000. From 1 it can go either way, but from 0.800 it always goes up, and the 10% probability not included in "always" is only that it will dip to 0.6 for a few hours. Nothing to be scared of.

Bad Mojo. This just means we will be below $800 very soon.

Please Risto turn bear again.

Is it agreed, that a lot of overnight bears got slaughtered like pigs today?

If the prediction that this weekend will be a buyers weekend.. oh god.. it would be like a genocide.

Holding on to my coins for now, but what makes me uneasy, is the feeling that I don't understand what's going on this time.

I've seen DOS attacks, exchanges go down, bad news, unsustainable price jumps, etc.. but my (perhaps overly simplified) interpretation of the China news was that it's just bringing them in to line with what we've already been doing, providing ID to use the exchanges? Surely that's not such a big deal, yet here we are bouncing around 800 on stamp  Huh

One might wonder, how much do you think, a valid Chinese ID costs?
Hire someone to use their ID.  Not ID theft, ID purchase.
Would the Chinese billionaires be able to buy those by the truckload?

I knew it was FUD right away, because in China, you don't get arrested. You disappear.

I may be wrong.. but even if I'm not.. well, this video did me a lot of good and I think this is as good a time as any to post it again:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qHUPPYzzZrI

Volatility like this is perfectly normal. Could Bitcoin die one day, never bouncing back? Sure. Do I see any reason for it to happen now? No. Am I a short term bear? Yes. Long term? No, nothing has given me reason to yet.

At least let the show run it's course before guessing the ending! We got 2 full days to go, time will tell!
