Yes, he is arrogant but guess what?

When someone's arrogant, it's not nice and we just ignore him.

But when someone's arrogant AND right, oh man... that sure brings out the worst in some around here.... too much jealousy...

Don't know if there are many butthurt people (I'm not one of them). I'm happy for him and if I were in his place, I'd probably have a lot of fun playing with the minds of everyone here as well.

He predicted $300,000 per Bitcoin in December back in March/April and before his latest call he switched between bull and bear a few times before his final call. He's just guessing like anyone else

Shorting looks reasonable, price seems to be struggling to get up. But on the other hand, there is a risk of being owned by a sudden rally to 800's which pretty possible also.

Isn't that how bitcoin always is? It could go down, it could go up, right now it's the same. :-)

- spring 2013 (this was not trolling, this was a very real and serious prediction he made earlier this year)

"we will never see $100 again"

- summer 2013 - we went below $100 (till $67) a few days after

"i turned bear, I'm selling and buying back cheaper in a few days"

- November 2013 - he sold at $700 hoping to buy back cheaper and had to buy back at a loss shortly after

"i turned bull, I was wrong earlier and we are going to the moon"

- December 2013 - we were trading at $1200, the peak was reached shortly after and we crashed

I could go on FOREVER.

As some have said, Risto makes some very interesting general analysis threads, but:

• his short term calls are consistently wrong
• he doesn't own 10k coins, that's BS. He doesn't own more than 2k coins based on his post history (probably less)
• his history of successful trading are utter BS. He doesn't do "arbitrage", and he makes up his stories of success to build up his character
• he has delusions of grandeur and maniac episodes in which he totally loses his mind, probably believing his own BS
• he doesn't stand serious critics, that's why he starts self-moderated topics in which he ruthlessly deletes well-reasoned critics while allowing random and off-topic praises.
• finally, his business model is to attract noob investors to either a) sell them BTC with a markup or b) manage their assets for a fee. This is his priority, and the character he built in here is made with that priority in mind.

The real butthurt are those who will be crying because they don't take responsability for their choices and follow a forum for entry and exit points on the most volatile market in history.

That's good. Only stupid people become so fixated and blinded with an idea, they cannot see what's in front of them.

Smart people re-analyze and adapt constantly. The smarter they are, the faster they do it.

I am sensitive when he gives the noobs the "Pro trader" act I will copy what you just wrote just to threw it on his face, because he is one of the few here that claim that his posts are not speculations but "facts" and the clients that he claims to have are BS....

Totally right, it was a good call. I think people would be less hostile though if he also admitted when he is wrong, rather than just crowing about the occasions when he is right
