just bought back with huge loss from 720 wall, im now 10/90
if you just listned to me when I said buy back at 620-650, I also bought at a loss but I still made 20% profit which I didnt want to lose all, and you know if you hodl few weeks you might be very happy of how things will turn on... I think the price will skyrocket at Q1 2014 if the official US statement will be positive which is already looking to be....  ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=385149.0 )  watch the videos Wink

I have reduced fiat at a loss too...

I was holding a few bucks for half a dozen cheap coins - have reduced this fiat by half now, it doesn't look like the low 600's are coming back soon.

But hey that's Bitcoin - if we go much higher I will cash in some alts to make up for it, they have made me a bit as BTC has looked bullish again.

my strategy now is to see if we break 850 and be ready to sell if not, worst case scenario would be that we would plummet now after i bought, but i think that's not likely

this pic has been inadequate too many times to be taken seriously.

EDIT: well, not the pic, but the conclusions people draw from somehow matching it to bitcoin.

Why the negative thinking?

As the bitcoin hive-mind, we're just being cautions. We've got ahead of ourselves a couple of times already.

3rd world countries afraid of Bitcoin because it gives the power to people, countries like USA and most EU will adopt Bitcoin then the 3rd world countries a bit late will follow like always, do you remember internet the early 90's ?  you know just saying ....

Where do you live?

EU but I am originally from  Algeria so I know how it works....

Ok, let me spin it off in a different manner then.

"Power to the people" is just a vague in-the-future concept for Gov's right now.

What they truly fear (and rightfully so) is the fact that Bitcoin is the absolute ultimate Capital Flight instrument. Ever. 100% True, no doubt possible.

Still, both concepts are horizontal, meaning they will affect and be cause of fear for all Gov's (1st or 3rd world) albeit with greater or lesser impact.

First world countries just happen to be in a position (technologically, socially and economically) where they can more easily assume an early adopter role (just as individuals did in previous stages). In doing so, they will be hedging themselves against the losses from the two concepts above.

Gov's may not realize it yet but the problems they face with Bitcoin are horizontal and affect them all. They have a lot more to gain if they stand together in a unified position.

A little of extrapolation and futurology may point to a one-Gov world in a future scenario...

Regarding early adopters-

Picture the folks in Cyprus, who are suffering a %100 haircut of their deposits above 100K.... a potential 50% loss due to Bitcoin volatility doesn't look too bad to anyone facing a bank "bail-in".

I think buying Bitcoin is actually a flight to safety.

having cleared major resistance by breaking 770 (gox) 725 (stamp), there's not much in the way to 850/900 now (looking at past volume).
