Something going on with Huobi's volume, or lack thereof. In other news, which I'm sure is unrelated, BTCe experienced a huge uptick in volume. Discussion here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=404961

This happens when shit happens in China and the Chinese pump manipulation enchantment is broken - price falls until it approaches support levels on real exchanges indicated by an increasing volume on the real exchanges .

There is no "just talk" when it comes to making a bet. If you confirm that you really mean it - you mean it.

Matthew Wright got a scammer tag for something similar.

With that said, I wouldn't take any bet as a real thing until escrow was achieved. A person should stick to their word though.

This lack of volatility is pissing me off. When are we going to see a drop below 500?

Seconds after Coinbull's transfer completes

Good! Let's do the whole early adopter thing over again. It was fun the first time wasn't it? Dollar coins for everyone!

that would be epicly sweet, drops down to 1$ bounces back to 100$ immediately and we get back to 1000 in 2 years time.

If it returned to a dollar how many would you buy. I would be in for 10,000.

Stupid compiz fusion crashed my ubuntu install. I'll be fucking with that all day now.

He quoted T.Stuart's post indicating that he accepted the "gentleman's agreement" to send the 1BTC without escrow at the cutoff.

At the very least, he should get a scammer tag, as Matthew did.  Otherwise where's the consistency?

Though as far as I can tell he's had an extra 24 hours over his originally stated cutoff anyway, so he's quite late paying up Wink

I was one of the people who bet against him , I asked him specifically if he is still taking bets at that moment.
But again , I didn't believe for more than 1 second I would get 1BTC and that was when I was falling asleep.

But since I was sure from the start he didn't have the resources to take the best , I'll  personally let him go if he helps with my project:

3 hours left for Gox to hit 750<. If some divine intervention will prevent it, i will be expecting my 1 btc from CoinBull.

Let's make a bet on whether or not CoinBull pays out.  Cheesy

I'm going with "no."
I'll make that bet too  Grin

i will bet you all yes with high amounts of BTC, then pay him to pay out the other bet:)

I'll write down , never make bets against  [Default Trust] is Tyrannically Centralized! , hmm..... (goat)

Is doesn't seem like a smart move to take an unsecured bet with someone that you don't believe will pay. If you lost you would have to pay or be labeled a scammer. He has everything to win and nothing to lose. The most you can hope to do is not lose.

Since btc is kinda anonymous he could pay the 1st bet himself just to win the 2nd. So...

I took the bet for fun.

Sure jump on board. Come on ride the train the Bitcoin short train

Quote for confirmation.
I told myself to quit betting. But this looks just like the safest bet ever.
Of course , that's how betting on Sprinter Sacre looked at Kempton and damn that horse made me lose 300$.

I lost 300$ because this horse pulled up. The odds we're 1/6 when I made the bet , I didn't even once think seriously about the profits (50$) ?

Just to make the race more interesting ,and with the 50$ to reach a round number for withdraw,  but unfortunately it turned both ugly and messy and boring. also , iI've bet on him for the last 10 races with the same odds , just because i really like how he runs , not for the 1/8 1/10 odds he has won till now.

Besides , If BTC would have reached 750 , I would have lost far more than 750$.

Anyone think arbitrage with Gox is worth it if you're dealing in euros? Yes you have to wait 6 weeks but it's easy profit. What worries me the most is that Gox might get shut down or something.
