Hey Bitcoin gods. I'm doing the longest time thing and all. But I'd like to get filthy rich tonight, so would you mind hurrying up Grin

You'll have to w8 a bit , the guys in rpietila lounge are talking about a drop to 500 =))))

618 has the most votes so far.  Not sure how much wisdom-of-crowds you can derive without a crowd, however.

You've been tainted by the black bear shadow of  Mor'du.

On top of that, the withdrawals I've tried to make in USD to my Japanese account
Why don't you trade in JPY and withdraw JPY?

I know I was kidding. Complaining about the insane growth of Bitcoin is insane.

Although please ignore what those speculators are mumbling about. Up and down are equally likely short term.

Because then I would have to pay the conversion fee to USD when I wire the money to another exchange to buy cheaper coins. Yes, it would only add about 1 - 2% but still. But that's actually what I'm considering now. See how it works.

I reside in Japan, have a Japanese bank account (in ¥ and USD), have gone through all the bullshit to get 'trusted' status for large withdrawals and I still can't arb. I thought getting trusted automatically gave you the withdrawal increase bump but apparently you have to request it. I requested it over 10 days ago and still no increase. On top of that, the withdrawals I've tried to make in USD to my Japanese account have all been cancelled and support hasn't gotten back to me with an explanation why. THUS, the artificially high prices... impossible to arg Gox I imagine.

I'm planning to do the same with PLN... Poland is in EU (as Slovenia), don't have € but is still in SEPA zone. Just need to find out how to open a business account in one of Poland banks (probably not so hard). And gox support said that the PLN withdraws are working smooth.
I got the mail from Gox today... they wrote that I need to send them the documents by postmail  Huh  Cheesy

If you have a trading bot & Poland account this is perfect  Smiley

I've had about USD500 go missing from Gox after cancelling a buy order earlier today.

NOT HAPPY!

have you looked at the trade history?

I cancelled a buy once after it started buying, instead of just halting where it was - it sold back what I bought at market to unwind the entire order.

There's nothing in the trade history and the price never went near what the buy order was set at anyway.   No open orders remain.  The money has just disappeared.  The account wasn't hacked, I cancelled the order pressed the cancel button and watched my funds evaporate.

No response from Gox and its 24 hours later.

Truly over these useless motherfuckers.

In my country we have "rooster fights" in a cockpit arena. There is no escrow. You just need to look for a person who wants to take your bet and it's on. No escrow, no contract, claim stubs just words of a real man.

With the difference that if someone stiffs you, you can knife them in the kidneys.

Any serious bet from anyone who knows that they're doing will have the stakes held by a third party. And there's a reason bookies are popular.

It would be really easy to see 500- again if something else happens in china and huobi starts going down or the Chinese exchanges get shut down. Basically all the exchanges are still slaves to the huobi manipulation and without it there is no real support. The order books and volume are a joke - so tiny compared to earlier last year before china. We have trained our eyes to see 1,000 order in the way that we used to see a 10,000 order. When the shit really hits the fan in china then its game on.

They have increased but not enough. The btc amount local to the price is very low. High volume would eat through all these bids like butter.

The real reason for the current price can be found on the ASK side.

On Gox during moments when the price could go either way there are a lot of buys/sells for .01 bitcoin going on, which to me looks bot generated.
Are these people all using the same bot? If so anyone know which one it is?
