time to test support levels is it ?

yes

and

i'm ready, i was born ready!

What is your target @ stamp adam ?

i start buying at 700, i go ape shit at 650

Thats it? You think we have resistance at 700 to 650?

I was thinking closer to 550.

I wish you luck sir.  Don't miss the train.

For what little I am able to buy at the moment, I would rather take the risk.

DCA is the best way to grow a stash.  Trying to pick bottoms is the best way to shrink a stash.

I take that as a rather bullish statement.  Do you have any particulars that you would share here?

DCA means...?

Take your pick: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DCA

Hint: Other Uses

And, nothing in particular, just a mixture of chart gazing with my favorite indicators at lots of time frames across several exchanges, my daily scans of this forum guaging fundamentals and sentiment, and of course, my mood plays a role whether I want it to or not.  Oh, and I first missed the train when it hit $3.  That was three times what I was going to make at $1, and I was already doubling my hardware investment at $1.  It had to come back down and I could easily get more coins.  It didn't come back down until after $32, and was only that low again for a brief window many months later.  I don't ever again want to be faced with selling more than a tiny % and having to decide between holding fiat for months and hoping for a small window of opportunity or just taking the fiat and hope I can DCA my way back to an acceptable stash.  I still trade, quite profitably, but only with a small portion.  That way, I keep my stress low and can make good decisions.

Thanks for that.  One of the most reasonable and non-flaming posts on this troll box sub-forum.  Hats off!

Not me, but I would be interested in comments from the other side of the aisle.

Not me too, however I hope for 850 on Bitstamp, which is my first selling level.

Heh.  I should have qualified my statement.  I don't trade on MtSux any more, so it's possible on that exchange, but not likely on BTC-e.

I would argue that Bitstamp has had more volume than gox lately.

sure, but a market mover usually leads the market, anyone can argue that Huobi have more volume than all exchanges combined but who cares about that exchange anyway

Well, you make a good point.  I don't pay any attention to the Chinese markets, but I do watch for trends forming on gox and stamp.  My trade signals, though, are limited to BTC-e.

If the past is any indication (with all of the following at Stamp numbers):

1) It's been sitting at around $800 for 2 days now.

2) In the past, it sat at around $715 from Dec 27 to about Dec 31 -- and then it went up.

3) From Dec 23rd til the end of the 24th it only moved around $10, from about $630 to $640 -- and then it went up.

This all from a 30-day chart. So I'd say we have about a day or two more max before we move up with any significance -- and break out the choo choo memes -- again.

You could very well be right.  However, if r/bitcoin jumps on another hot rumor it could just as easily, perhaps more easily, go down.

swear we follow huobi alot now days..but whatever another story to be uncovered in full.

As to the other bearish sentiment why so afraid? we're up $30 bucks since last Friday.. a reasonable gain probably would've been higher had we not over shot so hard last weekend.
