Maybe this whole thing (last 4 weeks) is a huge pump and dump

Sigh... fait is long term pump and dump.

Just hodl.

I've been hodling since 5 USD/BTC
don't know how much longer I can keep doing this

I learned the hard way. The clowns in this thread were able to teach me one thing. The only reason to sell is to buy back in later for a substantial profit.

You traded the silk-road shut down. Huge balls. Hell, you've got to have huge balls to trust one of these Bitcoin exchanges to actually function properly!

you sold nothing? not even to recoup your investment?

I've sold around 15% of my initial coins
nice profit there
trying to find a way to declare them now to the tax authorities here in Greece
friendly people but keep avoiding responsibility by not answering to my questions

Somebody wants to pay taxes in Greece and the authorities don't help him. This is new:).
As for the hodling part , it seems there are a few spartans left.

1000 is no barrier at all. There is no wall on 1000.

Since 1-2 weeks, EVERYTHING is driven by huobi. The USD markets are completely frozen. MtGox even on 4th place after btc-e, bitstamp and bitfinex on bitcoinity today.

Not again , please ......not again.

Sadly thats true, USD markets have no confidence to set actions.

3 days ago we saw a 2k sell on bistsamp and it was not backed up by huobi. All laughed about this "fail dumper".

I made a buttload of btc during that panic episode. Just don't trade on Gox. BTCe is actually really fast for trading.

My sources from the future say we will break resistence soon and leave all the bears behind after they start panic buying.

and who will buy it above 1K?  one or two kids with daddys money?Smiley

Same people who bought it above 1K last time, and above 1.1 and 1.2k

do you believe that same people will repeat the same mistake from which they have burned just a two month ago?Smiley

hell no they are going to sell back so that they can buy MUUUUCHHH cheaper later on Cheesy

i think those people have sodl back their BTC long time ago. who do you think was selling BTC around 500$? do you think it was Max K. or his mates?Smiley

What makes you think so?

If it is fake, it is very well done. It even looks more real than the other exchanges...

No trading fees. So those trading can trade 100x more often withy their bots than they can on the other exchanges.

Bitcoinwisdom has daily data for them since Sep/2013. (It has several years of data for other exchanges.)

I see.  But if the bitcoins actually change hands, then the trades (robot or not) are not fake, and and the price they define is the real price.  Non-zero fees obviously drive speculators away from other exchanges.

If Huobi's daily BTC volume is now really 4x that of Bitstamp, MtGox and BTC-e (as Bitcoinwisdom seems to show) , then they should tend to control the market, with the others following through arbitrage.
