re that facebookcoin thingie... basing on what i read...did not read the white paper yet...
They said that it is 'backed' by currencies and/or gov bonds, but the question is to what proportion. If it anything less than 1:1, then they are acting like a bank without being officially a bank (no bank license). French already raised a question about it. The question of sovereignty also came up.
in any way, crypto backed by debt is as disgusting as fiat 1:1 or not :p .. and its shaping up as something from r0ach's nightmare.

Of course someone is scared this Libra thing could actually work after all:
I believe Libra will be a threaten to banks, not to bitcoin. I see many people saying it would destroy XRP... this is a non-sense to me. Libra may force banks to modernize, as Libra will be more open than banks (more border-less), but will also follow their rules (centralized, legislation rules, reliable, etc).. How will banks modernize? XRP may be the answer for them. XRP always tried to get blockchain technology into the banking system. Banks think XRP is a big joke.

We should make an instaignore filter that immediately flags a SV shill based on the blatantly incorrect capitalisation of Bitcoin. And they have the balls to say "Satoshi Vision". Yeah, right.

LTC tremors
Who gives any shits? besides you? goofball. Me .I like litecoin It's an honest coin Same here. The big majority of my crypto stash is just BTC. Additionally I do have some traces of an ample variety of *shameful cryptoshit* you wouldn't even imagine, but... LTC? I am proud of that little bugger even if I plan to sell some soon. I bought a bunch of it when they announced they were adopting Segwit even before than BTC and have hodl (most) since. JJG, this thing backfired you A proud troll/shill - lookie uie. Does not make it right to troll/shill, merely because a lot of other peeps do it. If I was doing what other peeps do, then maybe i would go off a group troll/shill cliff? Thinkie uie bout that.

Mic Saw this and thought of you I need to ask. Why the two satellite antennas oriented towards ground? ..the signal bounces off the parked cars? repeater station in the subway? or...this is an alternative universe..look, they even parked on the "wrong" street side, lol

After June 20, I will do Bitcoin tattoo! WO Give me a couple of sketches for analysis!
I’m covered in tattoos & I’ll definitely get a bitcoin one but only when I’ve sold a significant amount that my life is changed by bitcoin. I have significant gains from bitcoin (more than I ever dreamed of) but they’re unrealised gains - Meaning until you sell nothing has changed. Any way, regarding your tattoo, how about just a bitcoin logo, simple & effective? What do think about this?

They are reinventing the Tether scam. A crypto pegged to FIAT. Nothing to see here.
But one difference with Tether is that Tether is not a scam. Tether is actually used (and that is why tether get's so much hate in the media, including gov'ts and financial institutions), as contrasted with the vast majority of the other allegedly "stable" coins. Tether was fully backed by collateral deposits. Until it wasn't. Tether was so not a scam. Until it was. In regards to Tether, you are spouting out the mainstream media line too? For what purpose? Do you even understand what is going on in regards to the threat that tether seems to pose towards mainstream and that is largely fueling the misinformation and exaggeration campaign regarding it?
