I love the idea of a Halvening party. I’m in.  Every 4 years. It’s like the Olympics.

Ah man, that’d be awesome. I’m definitely game.

In order to dump coins one must have coins

It seem today's crash was triggered by activities of whales on coinbase. Traders shifted their position when there was movement of 25,000 bitcoin to coinbase, after dumping, there was another movement of 14000 bitcoins from coinbase to another wallet. Traders are just being cautious and we will likely see some recovery as soon as the fears of manipulation is over.

Even if no one else traded that would result in BTC50k volume on coinbase which i do not see

3. Maybe hold it in Europe and North America alternately - with the locals hosting it each time (and competing with the alternate, previously held one for the kudos).  Asia /Far east is not ruled out, but I am guessing the majority here are probably based in Europe / North America.

The guests dietry requirements might make it impossible to host the party in a single country. Infofront insists on jellied eels.

You're right - it checks all the boxes except for one. I was raised on jellied eel. The lack thereof is a serious dealbreaker.

Similarly Scottish guests may insist on haggis, which is illegal in the USA as it contains sheeps lungs.

Other guests may insist on other exotic delicacies like the ones below that may be illegal in certain countries.

I think local delicacies will be the hosts preferred option, but I am sure in infofront's case - flying in some jellied eels will be possible.  It seems it's a must.

Halvening party seems to be a popular option. Whether we go for a year after (for obvious reasons) - or 'at the time' can be decided, as can the continent.

In terms of a regular thing... A fun suggestion:

A little competitive sport for a cup might be in order each Halvening Perty (whether it's on a field of sport or around a table) with the WO Halvening Cup to be won or lost each time. Suggestions for the sport welcome - although I realise a cricket match competing for the Ashes of CSW is unlikely to happen. Sadly.

Sort of a Ryder Cup, WO style?   Those in any teams (Host Continent vs Rest of World?) will compete in WO uniform of team-coloured T-Shirts with a their own hat individually printed on it - to be provided by organisers ofc. WO trophy to be engraved and awarded afterwards (by suitable 'celebrity'?) with the cup to be held until the next party.

The honour of a continent at stake may make it one to be worth winning, and glory will be played for, legends made...

I tend to keep an eye on the 3 day 50/200 MAs.

But looking at current action according to my crude lines, seems the worst case is a touch under 7500.

I hope not so low, but at least this looks the worst it might go.  Correction to be expected, of course - and for me, no way it goes to 6K.

In my children's lifetimes ... Silver will be to worthless to try and use as a store of value.   There will simply be too much of it.

So easy to spot the kike shills when they post insanity like this.  There's 1/4th as much above ground silver right now as during the 80's and twice as much above ground gold.  This is why silver is one of the biggest fears of Jewish usury scammers on the planet.  There will be nobody adopting your digital currency, cashless society slavery system, (((Larry Summers))).  No amount of Jew shilling will change that fact.

Over the next 50 years there will be many more sources of silver and many other metals.   Hiding your head in the sand won't stop the march of technology.

Lunar and space mining will ruin Roach's lonterm gold investment.

Way ahead of you, bro.  I'm on Mars mining silver right now.  Cost of production is only $100,000 an ounce.  Got a Indian guy named Pajeet Sharmul helping me out.  Jamie Dimon is on the way.

An extremely early good morning Bitcoinland. It seems Mexican hours have followed me back to Canada. 8:00AM? Isn't that farmers' hours? Definitely past my usual bedtime. Must be my Mexican GF's fault.

I see the battle for $9k $8k continues... currently $7945USD/$10667CAD (Bitcoinaverage).

Seems the previous trend of the price tanking when I went south and rising when I returned north has reversed. This time it soared when I went down at the end of April and dropped by a grand when I came back up in June. Go figure.

Luckily I have a little extra fiat left over after paying my bills so I'll actually be able to buy a little bit of this dip. Just a couple of grand CAD but it's better than nothing. Every little bit helps. I was worried that I'd maybe have to sell a little coin when I got back but a dental delay has instead left me with a little extra cash.

Life is good. Go Bitcoin go.

Happy birthday Goose. Stay strong and HODL.
