https://www.cnn.com/2020/03/30/health/coronavirus-lower-death-rate/index.html

"Researchers combined that data on "infection prevalence" with public information on reported cases and deaths, estimating the overall death rate to be about two-thirds of 1%"

So now experts have again revised the mortality rate to be lower at .66%.

By the end of April I bet they have it even lower. By the end of May even lower again.

With no Hydroxychloroquine its probably about .2%-.33%, which is a nasty flu, but with HCQ its likely less lethal per capita than the yearly flu.
It quotes the fake news and it gets the paper. What does it reveal about me when I frame myself as a mentally ill transsexual named Buffalo Bill with my movie reference?

Not sure buddy, you are gonna have to work that out yourself and think harder next time you want to be clever.

CNN is a fake news peddler, that's why I purposely used them even though many other news agencies quoted the source material.   Because the communists over there are aligned with you at the moment to hype this virus up as much as possible. Even they felt obliged to highlight the source material showing the virus has a low mortality rate.

The Lancet, a peer reviewed medical journal was the source of the .66 mortality rate of our not so deadly virus known as Covbull-19.

Weekly Jobless Claims Rise to 6.6 Million

6.6M people without insurance in the US.
Good.
What could possibly go wrong?

Pretty much anybody who is unemployed can file for state medicaid insurance (public insurance). When I quit my last job I got it. Of course my doctor at the time refused to see me as a patient anymore, because medicaid claims paid out like $20 less per office visit than sweet private insurance...
Let me better understand.
Under medicaid you go to the doctor, you pay nothing, and then the doctor is reimbursed 20 bucks from the government?
So he can decide to allocate his time to higher paying clients with private insurances or you paying 20$?
Is that correct?

No, you pay nothing but the doctor probably gets $80 for a basic visit from medicaid/medicare but he wants $100 so he refuses to see the $80 patient.

Also, not all insurance pays the $100 he wants so he may not accept your particular insurance even if you are covered. If you pay in cash, he will gladly take your $100.

This sideways $6,666 reminds me of sideways $666 back in the day. Didn't we see rockets and trains soon after? Or perhaps my rose-tinted spectacles are back on.

our MDs never even knew what insurance a patient had. treatment and face time was always independent of insurance. only time a question of insurance was getting prior auth and such for some things.

The price at the halving on July 9, 2016 was $664.
Jan 1st 2017 we were over $1,000.

I would be happy if we see the price nearly double by the end of 2020.

Another 3 months passed by. Time for next quarterly report. It is funny how all looks doom and gloom but this chart shows no unusual events.

Remaining Anonymous: Which Crypto Privacy Solution Works Best?

Quote
Bitcoin-based privacy solutions

Given the explicit privacy weakness of Bitcoin and other open ledgers, various remedy solutions have been developed over the years. The first was proposed in early 2013 by Gregory Maxwell, a core Bitcoin developer. Later dubbed CoinJoin, the technology utilized an already existing principle of Bitcoin that single transactions can contain many “outputs” and “inputs” that flow to and from multiple wallets.

Yes my friend!

NEW VEGETA GAME

VEGETA GAME !!!!!!

$50 worth of BTC to one winner

0.018BTC prize for one winner

Right, we’ve been under $9,000 for quite a while now. I think it’s time to PLAY ANOTHER GAME !!!!!!!!

Ok, this time I’m going to be clear on two rules -

1.) When the price hits $9,000 on BITSTAMP you must post a Vegeta meme
2.) I also want a screenshot of the BTC price on TRADEVIEW from BITSTAMP to prove it’s hit $9,000

**If you post a meme but no TRADEVIEW screenshot - No win**

**You must post a Vegeta meme & the Bitstamp screenshot on TRADEVIEW so I can verify the time of your post against when the price hits $9,000**

Thanks & good luck!

Edit -

Increased prize amount - 0.018BTC to the winner.

Rules will be more strict this time (only one winner).
I’ll be more strict on checking the exact first trade at $9,000 this time.

THE PRICE SCREENSHOT MUST BE FROM STAMP’S TRADEVIEW (as fillippone advised last time) SO I CAN VERIFY IT PROPERLY (eliminates photoshop cheating)

Great! Now we just need a miracle. Wink

I love reading people comparing the current $6666 with $666 at 2016.
And I'm like, "hey guys, there could also be a greater cycle".

How about comparing it to 2012 halving and $6?

I am not one to begrudge a fella a stink bid or two...but am not holding my breath on your scenario atm.

Not sure if you have noticed..but bitcoin tends to do things a might differently. I think we can all agree at this point that Black Swan events can and do happen. Just not sure what the narrative would have to be right now to precipitate another such drop in the downwards direction.  YMMV.
