i picked the human race side. but the players are generally pretty stupid, dont follow common sense directions and dont seem to realize what teamwork is.

so far Team COVID-19 is better organized than Team Human.

Red queen effect at work I guess.

I hope we as 'Team Human' catch up eventually, but I am not sure I want to bet my corn on it right now.

Gyrsur your ad preference seems to be for Canadian-made butt plugs, and in this matter I commend you.

Also epic are the mask-making facilities of the Homeric household. It looks like a dozen or more were issued in short order, without making a great long song and dance about it.

Yeah, it's a pity our governments didn't have that impressive fast response. Thanks and Kudos to homer once again!

You know the basement dwellers still have too many coins when the price keeps trying to stay at 6666. It was the same shit at 666. At least they should try to get to 66666, childish.

Pretty much anybody who is unemployed can file for state medicaid insurance (public insurance). When I quit my last job I got it. Of course my doctor at the time refused to see me as a patient anymore, because medicaid claims paid out like $20 less per office visit than sweet private insurance...

I love my trips to the US, always had great times there and made some lifelong friends. Even thought of moving there once. But jeez, the healthcare system there is fucked up. Sure, we pay for it through taxation, but our free-at-the-point-of-service UK National Health Service is something I always took for granted, until I visited US.

And I'm always shocked by the number of TV adverts pushing prescription pharma products. Something we never see here.

https://www.cnn.com/2020/03/30/health/coronavirus-lower-death-rate/index.html

"Researchers combined that data on "infection prevalence" with public information on reported cases and deaths, estimating the overall death rate to be about two-thirds of 1%"

So now experts have again revised the mortality rate to be lower at .66%.

By the end of April I bet they have it even lower. By the end of May even lower again.

With no Hydroxychloroquine its probably about .2%-.33%, which is a nasty flu, but with HCQ its likely less lethal per capita than the yearly flu.
It quotes the fake news and it gets the paper. What does it reveal about me when I frame myself as a mentally ill transsexual named Buffalo Bill with my movie reference?

Not sure buddy, you are gonna have to work that out yourself and think harder next time you want to be clever.

CNN is a fake news peddler, that's why I purposely used them even though many other news agencies quoted the source material.   Because the communists over there are aligned with you at the moment to hype this virus up as much as possible. Even they felt obliged to highlight the source material showing the virus has a low mortality rate.

The Lancet, a peer reviewed medical journal was the source of the .66 mortality rate of our not so deadly virus known as Covbull-19.

Let me better understand.
Under medicaid you go to the doctor, you pay nothing, and then the doctor is reimbursed 20 bucks from the government?
So he can decide to allocate his time to higher paying clients with private insurances or you paying 20$?
Is that correct?

No, you pay nothing but the doctor probably gets $80 for a basic visit from medicaid/medicare but he wants $100 so he refuses to see the $80 patient.

Also, not all insurance pays the $100 he wants so he may not accept your particular insurance even if you are covered. If you pay in cash, he will gladly take your $100.
