Yeah, the thing is a real bargain at 0.1 BTC (this includes a 1kg spool of excellent PLA). I switched to some *m*zon PLA for 0.0011 BTC per kg and that was a bad choice. The Anycubic PLA printed excellently, out of the box, while the cheap one gave me a hard time adjusting parameters to get mediocre results (like Arries mine replica). I always wanted to print ABS, ultimately for a DIY gun, so i came across PETG/CPE because of the fumes when printing ABS. This time i ordered from a specialized dealer. I got into CNC about a year ago (or make it two, in case my mind fails on this again), and i was thinking quite often about 3DP, but always forgot about it again, mainly because my research for the "best" budget printer never came to an end - a different story. However, for 0.1BTC this machine is excellent, in the meanwhile i got decent CPE results. And it seems to get "cheaper" over time as well. Thanks, Satoshi Yeah, ABS is quite a nasty material to print with. I wouldn't even try it on the Anycubic. As for PLA, I always go for high quality stuff, usually sold in 750 g spools costing around $30 each. Have tried cheap ones ($20 / kg), but results were noticeably inferior, not worth the savings. BTW, my 0.1 BTC comment was obviously not for the Anycubic—you can currently buy 10 Anycubics for that amount! Maybe you missed a zero in your post above. The Anycubic Mega S should now be around 0.01 BTC. My comment was that, in 2021, 0.1 BTC should easily buy you an Ultimaker S5-class 3D printer. OMG, yes. 0.01 BTC! I missed a zero The Ultimaker will be on my shopping list for sure if i print at least 3 times a week over the course of a year or so. Just printing an ipad stand from thingiverse, i can't stand it when my kids are literally letting their heads "hang" over the damn thing, when it's lying flat on a table or floor. 9 out of 10 times i design custom things, which is freaking easy using 3D Builder, but it has it's quirks when you're used to work, say with Auto Cad in 2D. I wrapped my head around FreeSCAD and the likes, but it was too hard for me to get into, as a man with like half of a brain. What's up with Bitcoin? Should i look up some christmas cards? With Tux, this time? Institutions don't buy FUD like average Joes do... You can count on institutional investors were watching at least one full market cycle, if not two.

I bought Anycubic's newer Mega S. Prusa's are in the same range, afaik even better quality at the higher ended printers and have also good community support. ....
The Anycubic is an excellent choice! I've used it and it's one of the best VFM 3D printers out there. You just need to be comfortable with tweaking and tinkering with the h/w a bit, like you've already done. Printing with PLA, the output is on par with much more expensive printers. It's the more difficult/exotic materials that make the difference IMHO. And based on Bitcoin's recent performance and expected 2021 price, you'd probably only need 0.1 BTC to get some of the best quality 3D printers out there... Life's sweet for BTC HoDLers! PLA is really wonderful... natural... biodegradable, but it has it's limits. You certainly can't do firearms with it. I did this great set of replacement knobs for my grill. So nice... Prusa silver with a little orange flame glued on them. I loved them. They fit so tightly (she whispered). Until you used the grill. They take enough ambient heat that the would get mushy... lol. So I had to use PETG. And I only had a sort of translucent blue. Oh well... it's kinda comical looking, but they don't melt. I built a Prusa 3 with my daughter... it was a LOT of fun. There are cheaper printers out there for sure... but the quality of that thing. The engineering. It's a work of art.

Congrats The prusa's indeed have high reputation in the 3dp community. I switched to the Anycubic only because of the price, which was below a prusa3 and the Ac still had a more sturdy looking frame, imho. Personally, i knew some people that had multiple printers, and i think i know why. One built his own, but he does things professionally (model kits) and had studied toolmaking and machine engineering, worked with multiple industry-grade machines of many kinds. That was a monster thing. I bought my first CNC from him. A total freak, of course EDIT: Bitcoin: Knock, knock! $23k:

PLA is beautiful, and quite tough actually, but not good for outdoor and high temperature use. Printed parts can get mushy even when on a car dashboard on a hot summer's day. But there are other materials for such cases, like PETG as you've mentioned. I think a 3D printer is the best present for kids, especially those with an inclination for engineering/technical stuff. For dads (and moms) out there: now you know what to buy your kids/nieces/nephews for Xmas! Prusa make great printers, and the price difference is justified IMHO. Not that an Anycubic won't do the job, but a Prusa is a more refined product. Oh no, not a dump for ants again!

I'd say they did (believe all the fud). If they still do, they still wouldn't be in. How did you experience your first years of bitcoin fud?

Five figure again 🤪
Yeah!!!!!! At a certain point, it seems that there is a decent sign that we are moving back up again. But, hey, I don't really hold any great expectations that we are going to be able to break above $13,880 at any time soon. On the other hand, it would be nice to never ever ever see 4 digits again... But what are the odds? Less than 50%, perhaps? Maybe gotta wait for JSRAW to confirm with us that we are out of 4 digits? No? waiting............. Odds that we have left 4 figures behind forever: Today: 10% 1 October: 30% 1 November: 50% 1 April 2020: 60% 1 November 2020: 70% 1 April 2021: 80% 1 November 2021: 90% Just sayin

He didn't possibly mindrust out, did he? EDIT: So we had two $23k tests so far, and it seems to be tested again, but with much shorter delay, while we were above $23k on Stamp for about the same duration in both tests. Also, the drop was mere and with low volume. Time to kick some bearish balls.

I'm bullish, but yes. EDIT: Still, a triangle. Volume low. If nobody takes this opportunity, a little dip is absolutely within valid options.
