Observing $23,928 & not remotely interested in selling anything for a good while yet. This bull run has only just started really, we have soooooo much scope for upwards price discovery. You should always do what suits you but I don’t think it’s advisable to sell anything yet. Maybe at double this price I’ll start selling but we will see $100,000 per coin within 12 months & I’m starting to think maybe much higher.

Either way, it’s a great time for us, we are all so fortunate to have got into bitcoin so early. I dunno about anybody else but the next 12 months is going to be life changing.

Goodnight fellow bulls!

$100k / BTC is near-certain in 2021. <--- My "MOON" level.
$400k / BTC has been predicted and is not impossible in 2022. <--- My "FUCK-YOU RICH" level.

HoDLsleep for me too.

Goodnight LFC and all.

Sure it is possible that this particular upward BTC price movement could go into 2022, but surely it is hard to know.

I would imagine that if we were going to see a lot of UPpity BTC price action in 2022, then we would likely having something like a 2013 double UPpity curve rather than a single curve like 2017....   So, yeah, who knows.  History does not repeat in any kind of exact way anyhow so whatever situation could end up falling a wee bit outside of either of those two scenarios, too..

Sunday read...

A provocative article about climate change and who will benefit (I have my doubts):

https://www.propublica.org/article/the-big-thaw-how-russia-could-dominate-a-warming-world

An interactive map as to what happens with your NA city climate in 60 years (mine will be hotter by 2.3oC and wetter in summer, 5.5oC hotter and drier in winter):

https://fitzlab.shinyapps.io/cityapp/

Conclusions: when thinking about your descendants, buy RE in the Northern belt of US states, Canada, Russia, Sweden, Denmark, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Finland.
Toronto becomes New Jersey, Portland becomes Sacramento, both San Diego and San Fran become LA, Montreal becomes Philly. Anchorage becomes close to Vancouver (wow!).
The Baltic sea will probably become a new Mediterranean with a balm climate (the map is only NA, but you can project based on the first article).
People might go on a warm beach vacation to UK, lol.
I would focus on WA, OR & Canada, but Cali still looks good.
The first article projects that Canada, Russia and Sweden GDP will increase tremendously, while US would stagnate. Not sure if I buy it.

Might be time to tune out the MSM for a while...   Or forever.

Nha, i rather stay updated so i can anticipate the situation better not by reading like MSN.

Belgium, Italy, Netherlands, Czechia, France, Ireland, Austria and Germany suspending flights and train arrivals from England.

Countries responding fast. Kuwait, Isreal, Bulgaria, Sweden, Romania, Luxembourg also banning flights from the UK.

Border closed for UK travelers entering Belgium for 24 hours while deciding what to do.

Mutated virus also discovered in The Netherlands, South-Africa, Italy and Denmark.

Stay save.

There is a possibility that this virus is also in germany. Maybe this also explains the higher infection rate. But it's only a guess. We won't know for sure. But one think is clear. It will arrive other countries even with the air travel ban.

I just realized
Almost halfway through the day
It's Haiku Sunday.

It's so nice to be
Back over twenty-four grand
'Murrican dollars.

Maybe we can reach
A new all time high today
If we are patient.

So far it hasn't been sequenced in germany. Read Drosten's titter. He's THE expert, always rational, highly competent.

$25,000 doesn’t look too far away!

I love it when I get up in the morning these days. The first thing I do is see the price of the bitcoin and then... I feel kinda high.

I’ve been checking the price as my first task pretty much every morning for nearly 7 years. It’s much more fun during a bull run obviously  Cool

I don’t have a lot of coins so I really need $100k+ for it to matter in a life changing way..

I’m pretty comfy being poor though.. Have been poor all my life..
I am very self sufficient so I can do, enjoy, and have a lot while spending very little..
I don’t need as much $$ because I don’t need to hire everyone else to do things for me.. I can do most everything on my own..

My dream is to have a long vacation in a sailboat around the world..
I don’t need a massive expensive boat and can do all the maintenance work myself.. So like $50k for a boat buy/maintenance budget and basically money for food/expenses to last atleast a few years..
If god is kind he will smite me down in a hurricane before I run out of food money so I never have to go back to the rat race..

Frequently poor people (relatively speaking) will have systems that they are able to live on less, but even if you have figured out some of these system, like you seem to suggest, you don't want to end up overextending yourself because you go on some kind of an extravagance that you cannot afford... so as I recall, you are not exactly very old, so if you do not rush things, and you already know about bitcoin, just keep accumulating bitcoin and let the matter play out for another cycle or two before you go on some kind of premature spending spree.  No need to attempt to rush a possible transition from poor to rich by prematurely spending the value that could actually transition you out of poor boy status.   Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy  You might thank me later.   Tongue Tongue Tongue Tongue

I'd even suggest eddie to try for hiring on a small boat as a sailor/seaman, if possible. this way he can set sails and additionally make money to invest into moar corn.
Then go for an own boat after the next bullrun (2025/26).

Talking about all ahead one third, have you heard that Elwars cruise ship Satoshi is getting scrapped?
They couldn't get insurance.

https://mailchi.mp/ba2ecae563e0/satoshis-final-voyage?e=613696359f

An idea ahead of its time, apparently.

Elwar is a likable guy, but I've never understood his obsession with seasteading. I guess that, when you become super-rich, something screws up in your head and you become obsessed with pointless, impossible tasks. Risto Pietila comes to mind. It's sad, really.

Trying to go against nature is a futile, pointless task, as is trying to go against the establishment without a feasible plan. Taking the law on your hands and setting up a seastead in the middle of the ocean is madness and delusion combined.

IMHO.

Hahahaha

AlcoHoDL said it better than me.

I want to apology for my harsh words. We don't live in a CCP regime.

This covid crisis effects my mental health also it's hard sometimes staying rational.

Well I can understand you being stressed.
Any protesters against masks and shutdowns have a right to an opinion about a disease.

But Me my wife and seven of her relatives have had it.
I still have lingering effects from it. I need more medical treatment for the damage it did.
My wife still has lingering effects from it. She was hospitalized 2 times the pre insurance bills were higher than 111,111 usd for 2020 , thankfully we are well insured and have paid 3500 usd out of pocket vs 111,111+

One of my wife’s cousins was on a vent for 28 days. 3 others went to the hospital. All of us survived it.

we all live in NJ,NY,CT area which was hit first back in early 2020.

I don’t rant and rave, but some people still think it is fake. It is hard to realize that is true. Especially for me since I have seen what it does.

Back to BTC. sideways sidewinder still working some magic here.

23.5 + or - 1k. means another breakout if it continues past Christmas 🎄 I smell a brush past 30k in the dec 26-31 time slot.

And with the hard rules about living onboard - rules usually made and enforced by the captain, not the stakeholders, there's the sizable risk of imaginary freedom turning into perpetual obedience. The thing we were trying to run away from in the first place.

Yeah, on emotional level the idea felt like floating prison.

Basically, the opposite of freedom.

To me, the closest approximation of complete freedom = owning a huge plot of land, where I could walk anywhere, or drive, or ride horses, or whatever.

Living at sea = stuck at a tiny plot of artificial 'land'.
