Don't want to sound like a party pooper or nuthin', but maybe if we could, like, hang around at these levels for a coupla days, and build some support, that would kinda make me feel a bit better.

Getting too much of a runaway train vibe, and that's bad.

Bitcoin no doesn't just hang out at the top of a zone..

No doesn't work like dat.  

By the way, if peeps had not noticed, we have cleared no man's land .. and gosh, so far it has cleared no man's zone with a margin of $3k to $3.5k....  (the top of no man's zone was $23,500-ish).. and who knows what gonna happen next?

We should pour one out to all dee peeps selling within no man's zone and expecting to be able to buy back lower...

they were saying, "just think of all the peeps who bought at the top in 2017.. blah blah blah blah.. we better sell because they are going to be selling."   and we see that so far, that selling in no man's land has not worked out too well...   hahahahaha.. have fun staying poor and all that.

This price action makes me think that a $250k + top is much more plausible that a $100k top 

The current currency system is dying.

It’s no longer a cringe part of a hidden sub culture in society who knows this.

It’s no longer the Peter Schiffs of this world proclaiming the end of fiat systems.

It’s a (close to critical) mass that is contemplating this now. All in the open and for everyone to see.

And it’s simple math determining that this will accelerate. 20% of all dollars in the world created this year alone. Next time, will it be 40%? And the next thereafter?

Will the new stimulus bill go to $4 trillion (6.6% of all money (in broad terms) in the whole world)? 
Will the next stimulus bill be $8 trillion?
The talks about the $1 trillion coin seem a long time ago (those were rookie numbers  ).

25K to 100K is not really "price action", it's a huge amount of money that needs to pour in. 250K, well, it's even much more bigger !

But I will not bet against it either.

You better not bet against either.  People have said the same thing multiple times, and king daddy has continued to deliver.. There is a lot of ill-appropriated value out there in this world that would be more better appropriated into bitcoin.. and peeps gonna figure out those kinds of thingies with the passage of time.

It's not just about money. If supply is very reduced because few people are willing to sell and also because of the deflationary nature of bitcoin, less money is needed to make the price go up.

The flip side being that if nobody sells, the price can't go up anymore either !

I think it would be a great sign if nobody wanted to sell a single bitcoin at a certain price. It will never happen though.

There is plenty of supply available, the price just needs to get to the point where it shakes some loose. For instance, I'm guessing more than half of the bitcoin ever created would be available for sale right now at $1million each.

There is no shortage. It just seems like it because the price is so low. Who would sell now when they know what the next year has in store?

Guys like me sell small pieces .

Lets say I clear  .2 btc monthly with the mining.

So selling off 0.02 or 0.03 each big rise makes sense.

Mine and hodl most sell small pieces at :

20k
22k
25k
27k
30k

It is why I prefer slower gains so that selling off a piece happens 1 time a month.

Bitcoin no doesn't work like that.  King daddy is not going to let you plan your life based on gradual price movements.... GET A GRIP, Phillip!!!!!    and therefore you need to adjust your sales or whatever plans for eventualities that do not give you opportunities for gradual BTC price movements (whether increases or otherwise).

  You might thank me later, if you don't get too pissed off in the meantime... over these newses regarding the nature of dee kingilie.

Next time I check the price we've reached $27,220 on bitstamp. Let's see how far this goes. At some time it will have to correct, for sure. Let's hope it's something like from $40k to $28k, a 30% retreat.

Welp, I've always said in my mind that if whales want to load up on an undervalued asset right before a big bull run, the best time to do that is in December when Average Joe is completely tapped out due to XMas.  

well, they have to do it before Dec 30 so they can sell on Dec 31 next year and get LTCG.....if they want to trade.

BTW, Musk is getting late with his dilly-dallying and memeing.
Bitcoin did not give him time, lol, especially if new rumors about Ray Dalio's fund are true while PTJ, Bill Miller and Druckenmiller are all "killing it".

I hope that we will be below 38K by Dec 31 2020, though, because if we are above, it would mean that we are truly overheating (more than 100% a month) and about to undergo at least a multi-month dip/decline.

Actually, anywhere in the $38k territory by the end of December would feel a bit overheated.. gotta agree with you there, Biodom...

But I do not agree that a "multi-month" correction would have to be a condition precedent in order to have more UPpity or even that a correction would have to happen at such a time, even if the king were to happen to have become a wee bit "overheated" in the short term... Also, if you think about it, we have are approaching 3x increase since early October if we were to reach $33k sometime soon.

On another note, observed $27,392, which happens to be $420 away from our current page count of 28,812... so don't start deleting posts or anything like that..

Whoops.. now we got $27,526 as our local high.... Cannot keep up with this bad boy...

Page parity seems within reach within the coming  1 minute to 12 hours... depending on how dee honey badger is feeling..

THANK YOU to all for having kept me more in the game.  Without you all, I would be all in gold (which I like), but is not the fastest horse in the race.

STILL. amigos mios, would not hurt cautious or older HODLers to take a schnitzel off to buy gold, fiat, art, high quality collectibles (etc.) to beef up other holdings, you know, boring diversification and all...

Like you all, I to am looking forward to see if we get $30k or even $31K by end-2020.  And I wonder what sorts of big moves await us in 2021.
