Still alive, thanks so much to everyone for your replies and merits. Good advices given that will help me get through this.
You don't fully realise the seriousness of COVID-19 until you get it. I still don't actually know if what I have is COVID-19, but symptoms point to that direction... Should do a test to find out. Until now I'm confined at home with zero contact with others.
Now on day 4 from onset of symptoms. By day 5-6, and if things get serious, I should be getting shortness of breath, at which point I should be admitted to hospital. If this does not happen, then it may be possible to fight this at home on my own. I hope so.
You should purchase a 'Pulse Oximeter', they're cheap (like $20) and let you know if you're developing a case pneumonia long before you feel it. Displays the blood oxygen levels - if it goes to 90 or lower check into the hospital - you won't feel bad at this level with COVID but they will send an ambulance. You don't want to become one of the 'happy hypoxia' victims - too late when they realise. Google it. Solid advice. Get well soon AlcoHoDL!

Please be very careful. I had covid in the family and while we were looking after him the rest of the family were at risk. Family member died in hospital after a long struggle. He was in ICU and everything was done to cure him. He died on 24th November. After 3 weeks we all had chest X-ray and inaction were visible in the film. We are under treatment but thank god that we decided to have this X-ray. Family doctor suggested it actually. No one in the family have sever condition but we are in medication and hoping the infection will be clean soon. Please stay alert all the time. It's a disease not to be afraid of but to be alert and have awareness about it. Have vitamin C type foods, foods with Zinc. Also keep your body active. Good luck bud.

Last year I earned 3x worth of mixed coins.
At the risk of being kicked out: ETHBTC making double bottom and senseless coins starting to rise against Bitcoin. If this continues, the altcoin traders are going to make a killing. In the end, this means more Bitcoin for me

My wife and I got Sick Dec 31 2019 I shook it by Jan 31 2020. She developed 2x pneumonia was hospitalized in Mid Jan 2020. She finally shook the infection in early march. Say 65 days. But she has lung damage. We have been trading her for it (damaged lungs for 10 months). She was hospitalized in OCT for a procedure to help the lung issues. And finally she is improving with breathing. Her O2 was as low as 87. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07QDMR6XK/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A2W69QLKDNW5O5&psc=1. She now gets 97 to 99. Still lung scarring but using this lung exercising device https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B010MAF7GE/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A2LYX7FKX6AP16&psc=1after steaming with this device https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B075FYVVFH/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1along with medicines has improved her a lot. We had 115K in medical bills for her last year. Lucky for insurance we paid about 6k of that. A lot better than 115k 2020 was a mother fucker of a year for us. If you go for lung rehab do it after doctor approval. Make sure infections are gone. Good luck to anyone that has covid-19 issues.

Good morning Bitcoinland and Happy Birthday. 12 years old and like any adolescent, starting to show signs of growing up. The daily ATHs keep coming ($34800 Stamp) with only minimal corrections to keep it honest... currently $33427USD/$42552CAD (Bitcoinaverage). We all knew 2021 was going to be a big year for Bitcoin's price but this is almost getting ridiculous. Yesterday was one for the ages. Go Bitcoin go. ____ Get well Alcohodl!

my grandma is 93. she has been a tarot fortuneteller for more than 50 years. this morning she called me and told me bitcoin was at $34k and that it will hit 80k before a significant pull back. this is unprecedented. in all those years that i am involved in bitcoin, she never made a price prediction. and she rarely ever calls me. (by the way: she will get her covid vaccine tomorrow) caution! i dont know if she was referring to $ or € when she talked about 80k Dammit where is that guy who posted sort of a WO digest here? @AlcoHODL If it's our spiked little friend, it's a nasty critter, but you're strong. I had friends contract covid and restored to 100% in a couple of weeks. Others paid a larger bill, but still alive and kicking (and they are older than what I think you are). It really varies wildly from person to person.
Hodl on!

Just wow! My current (unrealized) networth places me in the company of the 900 richest people in my country, according to the official statistics. I guess there are some more hodlers like me not counted by that statistic. Anyway, this is a good occasion to celebrate! Cheers mates! (I've emptied 2 champaigne bottles just celebrating the previous ATH's ) Lol, this is reason not to celebrate, rather to worry about. If you're in European country, taxes can be up to 50-60 % of your potential wealth (VAT + income tax) and if you're not in EU or USA you should better run there, because in any other country you have a big probability to lost your head not only from bitcoin price rising. And yeah guys, you can remember my words, but in near future, at least in EU and USA there will be new taxes. And majority of people will support this, because noone wants to feel himself bad while his nerdy neighbor has become a billionaire. in UK for example bitcoin is forbidden now (i know that in fact not "forbidden" but anyway high restrictions) Here is already memes about how "it's not fair": So yeah, the great expropriation is coming

Good luck with that. Do you have a reputable source for your claim about rising taxes on property? My guess is the same source as the 50-60% you mention. Anyway, if you do like good roads and healthcare and stuff like that, but still want to pay as little as possible on your wealth, then move to The Netherlands. Not a very patriotic thing to do but you're welcome here anyway.

I'm not telling here is big taxes good or not itself, just should admit that narrative about "high taxes - good roads, healthcare courts" not right. There many places in the world with high taxes and low life. And for example, Switzerland has something like 25 % (upper limit which depends from canton to canton) income tax in the same time, France has (if i remember correctly) something like 40 %. And i think it's obvious where is better to live. But my above replica was not about that. Do you have a reputable source for your claim about rising taxes on property? Just my observation. Look around yourself. Many young people are leftists, "eat rich" and so on. And if they don't want to endure such people as Jeff Bezos (who get his money from his hard work) they will not tolerate bitcoin millionaires for sure. And governments will use this intolerance for their own needs. I can be wrong, but it looks like that now. then move to The Netherlands Even if bitcoin will hit one million, i will never live in a country where guns are prohibited
