I texted him I have revised it to $260k
I hmm'd and haww'd on that recent BTC sale, to provide liquidity to start building immediately; I don't want to tap my existing accounts if I can avoid it, so I don't feel bad parting with low 2 digits of corn. Maybe I'm thinking about it all wrong. Maybe I should drain the traditional fiat accounts, as it seems that selling corn, near term, beyond what I have already sodl'd, may not make sense, given the appreciation vs my traditional investment accounts. Something for me to think about this weekend... Nice problems to consider. Maybe compromise and go half & half |

There are only 35 million funded Bitcoin addresses, which is less than 0.5% of the number of people on earth. And that percentage gets lower if you account for people who use more than one address. If 14% of the population wants to invest in Bitcoin, that's huge! |

For anyone considering selling covered calls, just keep in mind this could be a very expensive decision
There is an outside chance that Bitcoin could go to crazy number this year. A $3.5k payment for giving away all the upside on a $200k sale in December 21 may not be a very good deal at all. It’s only a good deal if you are happy selling at $200k no matter what. Because the price could be $500k at that time. In that scenario, you just lost $296.5k in value.

Indeed, as others have mentioned, the point is to compare to Bitcoin performance, the yellow line on coinmarketcap. Even a top ten altcoin cannot get back to where it once was in comparison, even without the massive pumping of late. Thus over a long period of time, what is the point? Trying to chase 2x, 5x, 10x or more short term is very risky. Maybe you can get lucky, but I'm not even thinking about doing that.  |

Do you have any rational argument to back up what you say or is this just a hunch? Its looks like only his wish for a red sunday which is not possible now.
