You think the Bitcoin purchase caused a 30% slide in Tesla?

So says the pink faced yelling man.

Panicked sellers don't know what the hell they are doing.
And yes marcus, the doggiest shiller is for real.
So says those who we all call The Musketeers. Grin
They will always believe whatever he says is for real.

he should buy more to make them shut their trap.

now, take a listen to this nonsense:

Ironically, I heard you are building a ranch/farm and as somebody helping out currently on a small farm because somebody being ill, I can safely say I'd really never wanted to have one.

I use the term "ranch" loosely. It's more like our own private country resort.

No plans at all to have any sort of livestock, beyond bees. Will be building greenhouses for growing crops 24/7/365. Will be mostly automated / remotely operated.

Keeping the pond stocked should not be an issue.

In fact, we've decided to engage someone to plant a forest on the entire entry parcel of land, leading to the main parcel of land. Entry parcel is presently being used by cattle ranchers who will be moving their herd imminently. Want the front parcel to go back to nature to help with flood plain issues in that area.

Decided we're going to try getting into a routine heading to the ranch Mon-Thurs, and spend the weekends back in the city.

Exciting times. Meeting with the builder this week.

Ha ha, me too (Pfizer), not sure if they injected saline or something (completely inactive) as I did not feel anything, at least locally.
People who are vaccinated with virus vector vaccines at least report something, which may be indicative of a response (soreness, slight fever).
There is no way for me to check that they kept this stuff at -70oC. I might check for antibodies in 3-4 weeks.

Same here, barley felt it, super fine needle.

I think 18 days should be max effect timing.

my brother wanted to sell me his 'used' tesla a 1.5 years ago? 2 years...I just remember it was 7.5 BTC...I probably would have done this IF he would have

kept the BTC...I'd be sad ..but at least the brother would have some BTC. But 'missed that bullet' sheesh...7.5 BTC for such...I would be 'sad' now...very, very

sad.... so HODL. Smiley

Was paying my kids .1btc to rake the yard years ago. They are happy now.

I remember signature campaigns that paid 0.1 BTC per week....remember PayCoin? Before GAW went completely rotten?

I THINK I got 0.33 BTC for running their chain for a week or so ..so they could setup POS with my 2013 KNC Jupiter Miner I had to 'dust off' after a couple years..the

last hurrah...everyone mined for PayCoin...I mined it on some exchange for BTC direct..

Wow....hell I used to send you like 1.5 BTC to fix various lots of KNC equipment ....hope you kept it Smiley

Brad

 lol GAW "went"
That's the one scam that never suckered me in with their pretty pictures of nonexistent mining devices.

well for 'awhile' you could get the GAW devices...but then they went full Paycoin scam...I mean "scam' wise they had big brass ones...

he could have gotten 20 years..he got 3 years...supposedly by the article below he will be released this year

https://cointelegraph.com/news/ceo-behind-gaw-miners-paycoin-ponzi-scheme-sentenced-to-21-months-in-prison

wanna bet that he 'does not' have some BTC stashed someplace...unlikely he does not, IMHO! Sad

Brad

While I agree that they were initially selling miners, they were acting as a reseller hawking overpriced Gridseed miners.   Once they tried to pretend they were making their own devices, things got really strange.
I'll admit, the images of those hashlets intrigued me but the specs on them given their low-profie appearance were simply not believable.

It would be less wasteful if you would cut them, chop them, dry them and then keep them for when you hunt some meat to fry it on them. Tongue  Roll Eyes  Roll Eyes

Thanks macson.  That's very kind of you to say and much better than a stinking badge Smiley

Homero (Garza) was released quite awhile ago. I think he ended up serving 18 months for one count of wire fraud, iirc.

So I finally signed up for the Fold card, touted for being bitcoin friendly...rewarding you with satoshis every time you spend using the card...

went to the deposit page to load the card with money for spending and...

no bitcoin option. Just a bunch of bank related options.

Sucks. That was the first card I have signed up for in about 20 years only because it was bitcoin friendly. Only to find out it just has a rewards gimmick.

It was supposed to be a Gold card but they eff'ed up.

edit: after reading up on it, it seems you can move the Bitcoin rewards from the account to your own wallet - it's not all bad.

Can that be done on a cheap notebook? The latest Ubuntu requires 4 GB of RAM and Win 10 requires 2GB, maybe it could be a good idea to install a Linux distro which is lighter and run a Win 10 VM above it, or try to run the software needed with wine or one of its many forks and wrappers.

It can definitely be done but it depends on the notebook how well it will perform. Throwing a bit more memory is always a good idea if possible.

While win10x64 will "run" on 2GB RAM, it will likely become a crawling turtle as soon as you run some minor or a major application/s.
The "superfetch" service (carrying a new name in win10 i don't remember right now) will further take up RAM and slow it down even more over time.
Future system updates/upgrades not included.

I used to run 4GB notebooks, but using win10 i had to set my boundary up to 8GB (at least!) for smooth operation.
However, you may find a virtualization software that is easier on the RAM and use an older but still maintained kernel/distro for lower hardware requirements.
Personally, i would well consider some drawbacks on a computer, but RAM figures would always be high.
Thanks for the explanation, the 2GB of ram was what I found on the Internet after a quick search but I immediately thought that was not possible since the number seemed to be so low, I have never used win10, the last win that I used was win7 and even then I used it sparingly as I prefer Linux, but once it became clear win10 was nothing but a spyware software I completely bailed out and decided to not use Microsoft products again.
