What's the first thing I will do when BTC hits $1 million you ask?

Go on Oprah, whine like a little bitch that I am oppressed and that my family gave me nuthin'.
In order to get the maximum amount of activity points possible, you just need to post once per day on average. Skipping days is OK as long as you maintain the average.

Looks like a prime candidate for NFT. Some idiot would probably pay more for it than a bricks-and-mortar house.

...
2. States that have low or no income taxes
3. States that have low property taxes (this is huge!!...

Escaping over-taxation is a biggie.

We own 5 properties in Quintana Roo and are buying 400 acres including a lake in Ontario.

We pay zero income taxes and zero property taxes in Quintana Roo.

Our Ontario property has taxes of $2100CAD ($1660USD) per year. The only income taxes we pay are for capital gains on the Bitcoin we sold to buy the land and lake. Capital gains taxes in Ontario are capped at 16.5%.

By using a construction site office trailer as a cottage instead of building a structure, we'll avoid a costly tax increase. If it has wheels and a trailer hitch, it's legal as a seasonal domicile and needs no permits nor red tape. Here's one we're considering:

It has 2 rooms, a 10'x10' bedroom with a closet to hold a chemical camp toilet as an ensuite, and a 20'x10' open-concept kitchenette/dinette/living room. Both rooms have steel commercial-grade exterior doors and our windows will be burglar/vandal-proof Lexan MR-10. It is fully insulated and has a one-piece rubber roof. We'll add an RV-certified wood stove.

We'll use deep-cycle boat batteries (with solar) for power, with a Honda Eu2200i as backup and for air conditioning. This is the same generator as our main backup in Quintana Roo. There it powers the AC, freezer, fridge, big screen, and all our LED lights and electronics on less than a gallon of gas for over 8 hours.

I think you made a typo - the tax rate on capital gains over $220,001 (to infinity - go go bitcoin!!) in Ontario 26.76%

Oh my! Where in the world they find these shitty TAs? What is that they'll find in a BTC graph next? A dick pointing down as a bearish sign?  Grin

BTC going up as a bearish sign. Smiley

I hate when that happens.    Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

NOT..

Funny thing when I was engaging in a bit of a family group text and bitcoin came up as a topic, and when I went into a bit of a short-handed speil, my sister said:  "I don't even know what JJG just said."  So then I summed up what I had just said as:  "It's never too late to get started."  Not that I had not been saying pretty much the same thing since about $400 in late 2014 and similarly at $400 in early 2016.

Some no coiners either do not want to get it, or they are purposefully being stubborn and failing/refusing to recognize a paradigm-shifting phenomenon that is resulting in wealth transfers away from those unwilling or refusing to take even a small BTC stake.. because they cannot get over the fact that "it is really not too late, yet"..   All they can see is:  "its gotta go down sometime" even when it ends up NOT going down, they still read into the situation as if it is going to go down sooner or later and ignoring that there is UPpity in that picture too..

Human beings are the pinnacle of rational reasoning that we are aware of. Unfortunately, our brains still carry the baggage of a hundred instincts and autonomous reactions. It takes effort to unravel and suppress those instincts to analyze things dispassionately and work to a plan and many people just don't want to go to the effort. It seems to physically pain them to even attempt it.

I think the bitcoin "its gotta go down sometime" doubters are going to change their minds when fiat hyperinflation takes off.

Never before in the history of Bitcoin have we had six solid green monthly candles.  This speaks to the strength of the 2021 bull.

trading view has monthly candles too, and yep, I agree those are solid green monthly candles... and 5 of them closed, but we are in the midst of the 6th green candle and it has to close above $45,262 in order to close green.. .. whoaza.. .. so we have 22 days to wait out the close of the march candle, and that is quite a bit of time in bitcoinlandia.. anything could happen.

Umm...  doesn't that chart show 7 greenies in 2012 and 6 in 2013?

Not sure if "never before" really makes much sense...

It is quite possible that hairy bairy had gotten carried away..

Perhaps?

Miami has lots of stripclubs (or so I have heard).

You are a stalled girl.. haven't you gotten the memo?

bunnies are girls.

 Tongue Tongue Tongue

But then there are hurricanes.
 Undecided

At the moment with this Covid shite I'm getting bored with the reliance on the internet and not being able to do much else where I live.
Having said that, this last year has clearly demonstrated where growth will be and what we as humans will prioritise and can't do without.
Certainly Bitcoin and probably not more stripclubs.

focus ur lil selfie.. .

girls no thinkie 'bout stripclubs..!!!!!!    Angry Angry Angry Angry

This is my personal list, or choices, of states, in the US: Arizona, Arkansas, Idaho, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Mississippi, Missouri, New Hampshire, and North Dakota.

If anyone who lives in those states can comment, would be much appreciated. Although I am currently living in another country and bounce around a couple of them, and I will probably not go to the US to live there for a long time even if I can legally. My relatives live in Illinois, but it's not really an issue for me to live elsewhere.

I have friends in Illinois, bad taxes all around. I have family in Missouri, and am contemplating retiring/immigrating there. They have 4 seasons (with no horrible extremes), they are long CCW/concealed-friendly and recently went to constitutional carry. There is lots of rural area, with 3300 sq ft homes for under USD$200k.

My family in in the central area, 2 hours either direction for St. Louis/Kansas City if you like metro areas.  KC is good for BBQ if you like that, STL was good for live music, pre-Covid. The southern part is pretty, with lots of Karst topography and cheaper land. Pretty, but poor land if you wanted to grow food.

I had family 30 years ago in the lower Rio Grande Valley, South Padre Island was much better before it was a Spring Break hot spot.
