FL/NH combo for the win (~6 mo in ea with a yearly winter trip further south to the Caribbean). I have been to NH during summer-it is extremely nice (especially for a person who likes more moderate climate). The air alone is worth it, plus other niceties, like plenty of clean fresh water.
Such combos are interesting option, for sure. People often dream of one perfect place, but maybe having two places is better... ive got some snowbird friends. they swear by it. and that options looking pretty good to me now too.

Updating the old graph... almost 1 year anniversary of the big crash... Gold is heading back to 'normal' levels of $1600, while BTC is Off. The. Charts.
Wealth Manager: How is your Bitcoin thingy going then? Me: Not bad. Do you remember when you asked me to buy $250 index-funds monthly and I said no? WM: Yeah, I remember. I am sorry you didn't do that as we have a consolidated 12% yearly return. Me: Yeah, you're right. I am sorry I don't know the exact figures of my btc yearly return as it is Off. The. Charts.heh i talked to my money guy a few weeks back. she just congratulated me on my corn. they of course wanted me to sell a good chunk when i 1st went with them years back and thats their job: to advise the risks and explain the safe bets. every visit we always yakked a bit about bitcoin as they were fascinated by it but of course that couldnt recommend it, to them bitcoin was in a risk category so far beyond what the normal risk categories they are used to that it needed a new word or something. but it now turns out now their clients are asking them about bitcoin. lol. they are learning but they of course will have to go with something approved and whatnot. thats if they jump in of course. they have their legal duty and requirements as a fiduciary adviser (if i got that term right). i joke with them that i have the low risk stuff through them and have the high risk side covered in corn.

Miami has lots of stripclubs (or so I have heard).
You are a stalled girl.. haven't you gotten the memo? bunnies are girls. But then there are hurricanes. At the moment with this Covid shite I'm getting bored with the reliance on the internet and not being able to do much else where I live. Having said that, this last year has clearly demonstrated where growth will be and what we as humans will prioritise and can't do without. Certainly Bitcoin and probably not more stripclubs. focus ur lil selfie.. . girls no thinkie 'bout stripclubs..!!!!!! if someone (he) calls himself a bunny and shows a female face as their avatar, that's just not nice as far as gender identity signaling is concerned, but, whatever, Jayjuangee could be a female too, for all I know. However, I found a reason for my thinking about bunnies and females (apart from that english link): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Playboy_BunnyPlayboy bunnies got stuck in my head...that's why. Those bunnies were not men for sure. However, I would henceforth refer to @JJG as 'she' to balance the equation...The "lady" doth protest too much, methinks.

In order for banks not to lose relevance, they will have to adapt to Bitcoin sooner or later. I believe that in the next few years it will be quite normal to have a fiat and a bitcoin account at your bank.
Would you trust your bank with your bitcoin to earn interest?

Oh lord, raise the MORF shields!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! mIRC fangurls asking for your digits. So how's your BTC shorting going today? $27k soon? Well... I did sold some today at 54,400$ that I brought from cold storage in a rush when I saw it going over 53K... But for now, I still keep placing orders. ... Not to be very bearish, but 41K is very possible if it happens in the next 7 days. And even 39K if it happens in the next 3 days. But lower then that, Dunnooo man... 27K .... or lower. That sounds like fairy tales. Buttttttttt....... Over 8-9 years of observing the price. I would not dismiss a 60% drop. Maybe flash crash at this point, because all sorts of sharks and raptors stand on a lookout for low hanging fruit. Yeah... we really appreciate diptwats like you Save the RF.. Come out all bearish blah blah blah.. sold everything blah blah blah, price is going to $37k blah blah blah.. and when the price moves against your supposed story, then you make up some other shit to show that you did not get wreckt like you would have if you had followed your stupid-ass suggestion (not the first time that you switched stories), but if the price had moved in favor of your made-up story then you would have been telling us how retarded we had been for not having had sold like you did blah blah blah. I doubt anyone here really believes your bullshit.. Well... its not like I sold a lot. But I just took some profits on a 250x from where I bought. *edit(): And I don't believe in 27K much anymore. Maybe 39K, but that only if it happens in the next 7 days, the window is closing for that as well... Also 41K in the next 14 days, after that the window closes for that as well.

Good morning Bitcoinland. I see we had a nice little $2.8k correction overnight and then bounced all the way back up... currently $56131USD/$71004CAD (Bitcoinaverage). New ATH soon? Go Bitcoin go. I think you made a typo - the tax rate on capital gains over $220,001 (to infinity - go go bitcoin!!) in Ontario 26.76%
Indeed. I meant to type 26.5%. I just pulled the number out of my memory. I'd remembered it as 26.5% instead of 26.76%. Funny thing that... the 0.26% I'd rounded off represents over a year's property taxes on the land.

bit of a sorta related aside here the branch manager at the bank i set an account for gemini up with was surprisingly knowledgeable about bitcoin. we discussed coinbase and gemini (she had to make sure i wasnt being scammed into signing up for gemini for sending coin for promises or out of the country and such). i got the impression she was a bitcoiner herself although i didnt ask of course. now thats different than holding coin as you mention but still it was a nice surprise that she was all on board with setting the account up. telling her it was mainly going to be an offramp from gemini to fiat in her bank probably didnt hurt. banks are slowly getting the message methinks. or at least some of the employees are anyway.

Oh my! Where in the world they find these shitty TAs? What is that they'll find in a BTC graph next? A dick pointing down as a bearish sign? BTC going up as a bearish sign. I hate when that happens. NOT.. Funny thing when I was engaging in a bit of a family group text and bitcoin came up as a topic, and when I went into a bit of a short-handed speil, my sister said: "I don't even know what JJG just said." So then I summed up what I had just said as: "It's never too late to get started." Not that I had not been saying pretty much the same thing since about $400 in late 2014 and similarly at $400 in early 2016. Some no coiners either do not want to get it, or they are purposefully being stubborn and failing/refusing to recognize a paradigm-shifting phenomenon that is resulting in wealth transfers away from those unwilling or refusing to take even a small BTC stake.. because they cannot get over the fact that "it is really not too late, yet".. All they can see is: "its gotta go down sometime" even when it ends up NOT going down, they still read into the situation as if it is going to go down sooner or later and ignoring that there is UPpity in that picture too.. Speil is a German word for "splinter" - that's a genuine Freudian slip right there; it's even in his native tongue. Sorry. I would normally let these little typos go but I couldn't resist on this one.

@LFC_Bitcoin final result 3-1 and final at Southampton. In case you're wondering how to be a great host, avoid green top! Barcelona-PSG is a tad more exciting Btw, Juve is selling Ronaldo in the summer for sure (Inter Miami? either that or some lesser club in Europe, I don't think it would be PSG). Maybe selling for btc, lol. It would be a first. If any of the players (or their agent) had a bit of forward thinking (like Russell Okung), it would have been done already last summer or this January.

Would you trust your bank with your bitcoin to earn interest?
That would depend on the bank. But most probably yes. They would need some online portal where you can do deposits to their bitcoin address and allow for withdrawals, or at the very least allow for conversions to fiat. I would not put all my corns in it, but they should be offering more than 6% interest, otherwise you'd simply go with any other offerings out there (nexo, celsius, blockfi, gemini earn). If nothing else, if the exchange rate is good enough for you, you can deal directly with your bank instead of jumping hoops for most other exchanges. However, I think the rates for all other centralized exchanges will be very good and you'll want to stick to those for awhile.

When you see someone doing U-turns on what he did or didn't do, and also replying to every post prodding him for his stupidity, you just know he fucked up, and trying to feel better about himself. Just like most traders/gamblers. They tend to be arrogant when they're on a winning streak, thinking they're in control, until they realize they've been working for the house all along.
"This is the end result of all the bright lights and the comp trips, of all the champagne and free hotel suites and all the broads and all the booze. It’s all been arranged just for us to get your money. That’s the truth about Las Vegas. We’re the only winners. The players don’t stand a chance." — Martin Scorsese's Casino (1995)
$27k... Yeah, right.
Remember: Tarders/gamblers should be pitied not scorned. Yes, their degeneracy may be born of stupidity but it's also a symptom of an addiction, a weakness. Just as a heroin junkie or crackhead lives in squalor, panhandling and stealing for that next fix, while the druglords live in opulent splendor, the Tarding junkies moan on internet forums while the online exchange operators and money transferers get rich. It not only requires intelligence to be a hodler, it requires strength.

Remember George Harrison's song from 1960s Britain? "Let me tell you how it will be... one for you, nineteen for me... 'cause I'm the taxman." Still, "Three for you, one for me... 'cause I'm the CRA" is bad enough.

People often dream of one perfect place, but maybe having two places is better...
The thing is, with services like VRBO, it can be like having multiple places without having to have the expense of the upkeep or worrying about the property while you're not there or feeling obliged to visit it. Not that I'm saying anyone is wrong to have one, just consider carefully if it fits your needs and your pocketbook.

Well hello there 53K, long time no see. first class example of a classical sashay, i love a good sashay. almost now from a lost time of chivalry when seduction used to be more subtle, yet more sensual. Is that a condom machine on the wall behind her? Wall Observers don’t use protection. "she" was on the Gents toilet! In the spirit of International Women's Day (March 8th for those who may not know) I'm going to wade in on this. While this ravishing porn star does demonstrate a fine example of sashay, she was not in the men's washroom and that is not a condom machine. The device in the background is for dispensing feminine hygiene products; one side is for napkins (pads) and the other for tampons. Now it's time for a good-ole bat-slapping: Take that!
