@JJG: Amongst the more naturally baked minds it is considered an absolute truth that reality is an "agreement". You see, something went wrong in evolution, maybe it's temporary (i hope so), but humans generally got way more brainpower than most of them can manage, so it kinda bleeds into other activity apart of sane conclusions based on repeated observations. Maybe (most) drugs are just a good way to tame that overshooting brain-capacity. I wish we could power miners with that excess energy. Some day, perhaps? Evolution can't go wrong, because evolution has no goal. But I get what you are trying to say, although I disagree strongly.

But let me ask if I did misunderstand that you compared not getting vaccinated with not washing your hands after you poop and therefor implying it's question of intelligence or evolutionary retardedness to vaccinate or not?
Not sure why your first thought is "intelligence", but the point here is hygiene and more specifically - spread of certain infections. If one doesn't particularly care about that then washing hands is kinda pointless. "Naturalist" antivaxers reliant on their own immunity should probably lick their hands to build up said immunity. I hope this explains the hand-washing jab (pun intended). As to all the other stuff that you made up (e.g. partying like it's 2019), it sounds like your own issue as it has nothing to do with what I said. I had a reply typed up but what's the point, I'm not going to (and not trying to) change anyone's mind here and it's decidedly off topic. Let's get back to bitching about China and Elon whatshisname.

Off topic in the Wob?? I didn't think that was possible. As long as you are not a cryptonian alt, I think you're good. Mind you, mentioning the word "c****o" might irritate jay, causing him to spout lots of wordenings...

Jesus it was a joke, substitute any name you want in there. Yup, and flipping it into a Bukaki reference was also a joke. But AbSoLuTeLy agree, "substitute any name you want in there." and the answer is still No Thanks! (enter the word "Bukaki" into a search engine at your own risk, notresponsiblefortheresults)

https://bitcoinmagazine.com/business/mechanicville-plant-mining-bitcoin... cool story, steampunk era hydropower station being used to mine bitcoin ... think of bitcoin mining like a portable electricity buyer in the market that can buy at source .... currently paying ~ 9cents per kWh ... and similar for stranded gas energy sources ... bitcoin mining will fundamentally change the energy and electricity developments, in the same way it has incentivised chip developments .... not to mention by directly tying monetary pricing as a social good into energy pricing as a social good

I have quite a few reservations about the perspectives of the anti-vaxers.. es tpecially the ones who are seeming to just spout off whatever nonsense that they expect that is hardly based on any kind of solid evidence, besides their own fantasy wishes.
Not an anti-vaxer in the sense that I think everyone should do what they want. However for me to take a vaccine the illness needs to be dangerous, which Covid is not to me (not in a risk group). That is enough not to take it (I also don't take a yearly flu shot) not even considering most of the vaccines use an experimental vector for delivering it and all the test phases have been rushed, let alone any long term data being available. Society wise it's also likely a bad call as immunology experts advise against vaccination during an active outbreak (which we are in right?) because there's a higher risk of mutation of the virus to become more dangerous. But that's not up to me, so everyone have fun running around in panic for the common cold

If i want others to take my opinions serious, i have to take theirs serious too. Imo, evolution is an ever ongoing series of results. So i can easily agree with you that there is no goal. But we can influence evolution with brainpower and education. The evolution of our education, however, is not quite turning out in our favor, brainpower might follow after some delay. #stillsickhodlsleep
