Make no mistake, this is a backdoor Bitcoin ban.

Compliance is impossible. Their intent is to criminalize full nodes, lightning nodes, and most Bitcoin wallets.

... it appears that the Democrats have gone full nazi, now championing effectively what is a BITCOIN BAN in the USSA

... hope all you leftie coiners here are happy with your choice of jackboot, at least now we can see the colour of the jackboots that will stomp on the throat of bitcoin so we know who to shoot back at

What I don't quite understand is that the price does not go along with this news. Either the market has not heard the news or it thinks that this last amendment is not going to be approved or something.

People get used to FUD. Compare people's behaviour at the start of the pandemic to the current behaviour: Fear doesn't last!
The same applies to China banning crypto: it's been used so many times over the years, nobody cares anymore.

FOMO wears off too: nobody cares anymore what the Tesla troll writes.

True, although allowing again crypto ads at Google has the potential to fuel yet another FOMO.

We have seen people saying that we have missed the boat as it's too late to invest in bitcoin now but the actual problem is that we have not missed the boat but in actual life we are just in the wrong boat and living in fake world of central authority. There are two boats in the sea one is fiat and all other CDBC yet to be issued and other inflationary Central assets and other one is deflationary bitcoin boat. The fiat is like titanic big and used by everyone but the government printing money to cover fiscal deficit act like big icebergs which will make that boat and world economy sink.

But bitcoin is like small boat in which you can make some holes of FUD,criminal allegations but they can't sink it and it will cross the floods and high tides easily also. With all people joints effort and bitcoin becoming mainstream the boat will become more strong and those who take it will watch the other boats sinking but they will don't have any worry about it.

You just need to change your boat and shift from your old traditional markets to decentralised and deflationary bitcoin boat.

If you don't believe in fud. You can invest in Bitcoin at any time. See if you believe in the future of Bitcoin.
I believe that the future value of Bitcoin is getting higher and higher, so I feel that I can invest in Bitcoin at any time.

Observing 41,118@stamp

As I am bored on a lazy Friday morning: some weekend hopium:

Number of entities hodling bitcoin has been pointing north lately:

what is an entity? How to differentiate between multiple addresses of a single person?

How Many Entities Hold Bitcoin?

tl,dr: Some smart guessing and a little of voodoo to understand when a single user controls multiple addresses.

Reading through some first posts in this thread is quite exciting.

Take this one, for instance:

I think someone will dump at this price, but I'm okay with that. Lets stay in the $60-80 area for awhile and I can be happy.

Or those posts of celebration, when BTC first time broke through $100 level. Or like this one:

Can't resist...

This is a looooong thread. After 2k posts you will still be in April, 2013. Long time before the first year in this one of my fav BTC memes:

what is this "brake pedal" you speak of?

There seems to be a political and inter-agency fight around bitcoin and the rest of 'them.

"A lotta ins, lotta outs, lotta what-have-you's. And, uh, lotta strands to keep in my head, man. Lotta strands in old Duder's head."

Well, for me anyway it kinda adds a a little zest to ones otherwise dreary, but not necessarily unfulfilling life.
Gardening and throwing treats to the cats has its limits in excitability doncha know....

tossing treats to cats can have its moments but my cats true hunter/predator fun happens when a flying bug of some sort gets in the house (we have indoor only cats). flying insects are like flying candy bars to cats, the only damage theyve done to the house - mostly woodwork on some custom bookcases and cabinet doors that they discovered they can climb - has been from cats and the gravity defying leaps and twist flips to catch them. yum. i guess.

at least woodwork is easy to patch and paint again. small price for watching cat antics.

yeah Tenant was ok.

Tom Baker rocked it as dr who in the old series. although once douglas adams got involved it went down hill imo. grab some Tom Baker episodes for a glimpse of what once was.

i loved Christopher Eccleston as the 1st doc in the new run. pity he only stayed one season. liked Matt Smith and Peter Capaldi too.

favorite companion: Zoe.. had a crush on her as a child heh.

Of the five senators mentioned in the tweet, 3 are Republican. Just so you know who's stealing your bitcoins instead of trusting the over-excited marcus here.
