Huobi and bitfinex and leading. There is a short squeeze in bitfinex from everyone who was shorting when 465 was broken expecting a huge drop. There is more volume on bitfinex in that spike than on bitstamp, which means all of it could be coming from bitfinex.

the squeeze was on stamp and BFX, but china put the pressure on, its been nudging up consistently all day. can one short on huobi? dont think so.

This Chinese thread seems to say that bank deposit (?) at OKCoin was still working today (Apr/01) around 09:00 local time.

Thought it was clarified via bter that they were closing third party partners not a blanket ban.

IN the end, there was NO real news with any of this China FUD over the past two weeks-ish.. it was pretty much the same news as had come out in December 2013... just some rephrasing or recirculation.. but materially NOTHING really new.

Yeah I guess exchanges are still following Huobi like a zombie. As long as China is still leading I am bearish because China is doomed to fail and what happens then?

uh I consider the website directly addressing what was sent to them real. At least a stance based on something they we're enforced to follow.

Wallstreet will kick in, sooner or later - it's just a question of the charts, so a clear bottom has to be found firstly. Venture capital is competing to pump multiple billions into companies like "WhatsAPP" or "Oculus" or whatever, none of them has a fraction of the potential Bitcoin has.

unless they buy it up and they end up hoarding to empower their own ..but wait.. they wouldnt.. would they?

I feel if this is going to be a proper squeeze within an hr we see it occur

No there´s plenty of room left till i get my margin call. The 12 h ultimatum is still open for 3 h.

The 1 week EMAs are about to cross down. I would have been all over these coins 2 months ago but not now.

I'll be surprised if they do cross (given the last time they were intertwined was Dec 2012) but if they do...perhaps a return to a 2102 type market would be good for BTC, steady prices, let the wounds of Gox heal, improve the infrastructure.

As for cheap coins...well, as they say in sales: there's no such thing as cheap, only good value.
And value is a highly subjective thing.

Surely, there are various ways to consider value.. especially, if I am considering the value of a t-bone steak.  Investments on the other hand have a considerable objective component, as well... and considerations about how others value it and building of infrastructure of utility.. etc etc...   Subjective value, though a factor, just does NOT capture the ONLY aspect of what we should be measuring when considering when and how to invest.

well my stance is that the panic selling is spent.

I posted earlier my views. Huobi has been rallying lately on the risk off opportunities. risk off being the times where announcements are unlikely to occur, such as the weekend. If there are further no announcement today, that slims the chances of any announcement before the 14th April.
this tells me that there is genuine buy pressure and that panic sellers are spent. after all, the market has had months to prepare for this.
