Why did the price suddenly increase one day before the 2nd quarter GDP announcement?

I know Why it's pumped a little bit. BTC doesn't follow those influencers' predictions. BTC always like to say "Fuck off" on their face. High profiles anal-ysts were expecting a down trend of BTC, and BTC didn't forget to say "Fuck off" on their face. That's how it happens. If they predict that BTC will pump further, Who knows? BTC may say that again and go down trend.

We’ll see if the fed chooses a market crash or more inflation.

That's the thing though. If inflation has causes that aren't related to interest rates, then the Fed increasing rates doesn't help, and might hurt.

In the US inflation is in part related to "too much money", with wages having grown, the economy on overdrive etc., so increasing rates should help. And the market crash has already happened, basically, so that's not a major risk.

In the EU it's another story, inflation is 90% related to energy prices, that increasing rates can't do anything about. The ECB has raised rates for the first time, but it's more because otherwise the Euro would continue going down against the Dollar than anything else. Incidentally it helps the inflation situation, but not in a conventional way, it's just that energy is priced in dollars, so when the Euro goes back up a bit, the price of energy in Euros goes down.
