some sort of spark ignited a technical reversal...have not pinned it down yet
results are undeniable however
not sure if its a guidance possibility from SEC....a possible POW ban from the White house...
historic interest rate hike from the ECB....or what

As I understand it, they only consider the "POW ban", in case the industry doesn't make any efforts to get greener (which it does).

It's probably the decision of the SEC oversight, with Gary Gensler stating that only BTC is sure to be no security.

....That's why BTC is pumping harder than Shitherium which actually is a security by their standards...

Would love to see the SEC fuck up all these shitcoin projects and let them take responsibility *die* ...for all the shittiness they brought into the space

BREAKING: White House says U.S. Congress may consider legislation to BAN Proof of Work Bitcoin mining.

Source: https://twitter.com/BitcoinMagazine/status/1567883215733460994

Fucking idiots. Seems we pumped a bit on that news too lol

They certainly look like gremlins concocting some ill-conceived plans that NO ONE requested.
The ridiculousness of it all is underlined by the small overall % of power bitcoin is using in comparison with gigantic polluting and earth destroying industries like gold mining, for example, plus too many more examples to mention. Obviously, they have an agenda. I have no idea why, but something something about enslaving would fit the bill to a tee.
I rarely speak "political" as it is generally not worth it, but enough of this nonsense already.
<end of a rant>

What you claim to be ridiculous, i find to be inevitable.

what is inevitable? banning of bitcoin?
sorry, but it is tickling my "bullshit" sensor.

Yep, if you think someone will willingly hand over global reserve currency status without putting up a fight you have a surprise coming.

not if....

...enough 'big guys' who make the decisions are already into BTC and have a slight clue what it is, by then

or

.... *tinfoil hat time*  TPTB created BTC for use after the fiat collapse - which is inevitable.
(Of course they would own Satoshi's keys, then  Wink)

I've always gotten better mileage out of a blend of clover and alfalfa. Usually get 2 good cuttings per year. Or is it too dry down your way for alfalfa?

Honestly don't know. Our partner is the local knowledge. Between him, and coordinating the wildlife exemption needs Rick is managing (need to plant 'native grasses'), I'm just trying to manage the labor portion of the work, and let them work out the nitty gritty eco stuff.

I understand the soil will need to be 'conditioned' across a couple seasons to become optimal for cattle feed - learning stuff as I go along sorta thing.
I hardly understand the soil effect but  I am learning at slow pace, so far satisfactory results and might see good harvesting, if i get lucky. Also taking care of famous Pahadi weed (not legal per se but It's normal here in every backyard so kind of safe atm ) aka Afghani stuff.

I gave up my so-called artist career to become a farmer.

Gold & other commodities rose at the same time. So the question is, did BTC go up or did Fiat go down?

I don't know if the increase in the price of gold or other things has anything to do with the increase in the price of bitcoin. But this year, the condition of bitcoin was very bad and meybe be seen that in the coming year, bitcoin will be seen at 60 thousand dollars again. I don't know if this is a real bitcoin pump but bitcoin will go up a lot very soon.
And for that Bitcoin may be starting to rise from now on. But Bitcoin will not rise completely, it will grow slowly. And now the Bitcoin that is going up may go down again after getting support to get some support. And this is how we will see Bitcoin at 60 thousand dollars.

Ideological or physical aggressors?  That's going to be a lot of fucking; we'll need reinforcements.  Come on!  Who's with us?! lol

Nope and nope..

We still have a few years of proxy war there, big corp needs to make a few bucks.

Taiwan is still far in my reading, considering the situation in indo pacific, especially on our (India) border. Xi is not dumb enough to open a 2 front war at all despite their economic might and recent so-called peace treaty at our border.

Can anyone explain why I get this error

bitcointalk.org image proxy:
invalid image

when trying to insert a meme or image?

Are you saying that you can't edit photos properly in Bitcointalk?
"bitcointalk.org image proxy:
invalid image"
Have you encountered this problem after editing photos?

Then I can give you a site where you can create an account and upload any kind of picture  copy the link and if you use that link on bitcointalk you will not have to face this kind of problem.

Call me a bit naive, but I cannot for the life of me understand why money is not moving into bitcoin in a gigantic swirl....yet.
It is obvious that inflation is high, eating everyone's purchasing power.
Stonks are still at the top of the range vs P/E and interest rates.
Real estate went up crazily during Covid and is posed to plunge. All factors point to it.
Gold is not "working" really since 2011.
So...how the populace think that they could keep their funds at least at par vs inflation?

that's the thing they just don't...

they do what others do, or what they are told to do

Hmmm...bitcoin is $405 bil, gold is $12.5 tril.
Who is banning gold? No one.
Bitcoin has to increase 30X to get close to Au.
Global reserve currency status is more of a dream right now...maybe in 20-50 yrs, maybe never.
I would be totally cool with bitcoin "market cap" of 10-15 Tril (500K-750K).
Even at 10tril, bitcoin would not "threaten" anyone, really, with total capital markets in $300 tril vicinity, maybe $500 tril in 20 years.
