The volume post-emptyGox seems so low that one has to wonder just how much of this rise to 1200 was actually caused by the virtually virtual GoxUSD
well really, how can the volume continue when it is all confiscated?

well really, how can the volume continue when it is all confiscated? I mean when I look at the volume in Nov. it was clear people were just not willing to part with their coins. There was lower vol. back in the rally to 1200 then during the goxxin.. people were freaking the fuck out believing the rumor not believing the rumor

does anybody still care about walls? down to $400, it just crossed the 15k mark! It is fake wall. Just compare with huobi wall, and you can see. There no have any logic. Huobi has a volume of daily transactions three times more than bitstamp and should have a greater wall than bitstamp.

No such thing as a fake wall.
whoever puts up a wall risks having that wall filled. that is counter intuitive to the walls purpose.

So I take it you are suggesting that just a day or two ago, you were not shouting to the rafters about how bearish the sentiment is?
sure, I see that the bears are crowding the place. I wasn't shouting to the rafters, but nobody liked it, put it that way. There are bulls like me, that have expected a $500-800 correction, and in general 50% retracement of all the previous bubbles. do you think it is bearish that the winkelvii are holding? the measure is about the number who have changed to bearish. I guarantee you there will be bulls here when the rocket takes off again, be it in a year, or two years. How do you know the reason they're holding isn't simply because they can't find buyers for all that they've got? How do you know this fund they're starting isn't designed as a way to help them get out without collapsing the market? Neither of us know, but I find the fact in and of itself to be neither bullish nor bearish.

The support is building substantially and I am getting less and less inclined to think that $400 will be breached. A test close to it though, sure. Also with China having no fresh deposits tomorrow it will be interesting to see how any new money coming onto Stamp may move the market.

Why would you ever think they are in it for the money, they are obviously in it because they are real bitcoiners. Their families have made millions by just investing in something for humanitarian reasons.

posting this for the sake of argument 2013 bottom now Compelling argument, but if you want to argue, let's argue. If I recall correctly, Gox had halted fiat withdrawals and the rally didn't resume until the withdrawals resumed, right? Now Gox is dead and China is dying. What are the Odds that the PBoC will reverse it's pollicy? There's not even a rumor of that happening. I swear I had started a long reply yesterday comparing the bad news in US/Europe of April/May 2013 (Gox , Dwolla, CoinLab, Liberty Reserve, bitcoin-central, btc24, etc) with the bad news in the rest of the world of February/March 2014. Ironically my cheap Chinese tablet crashed while editing the text.

The volume on stamp is tiny. it's not big on btc-e.
Like it or not Huobi and Chinese exchanges are dictating the price movements. There are plenty that don't want to sleep on BTC. it's 21:37 in China as i write. As others have pointed out it's a national holiday.
I think there is about a 3 hour window before a bigger dump starts.
Just my opinion...
