Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

And I don’t want to know what flavor that would be?

The generator did such a good job, but this blew it on the name?

"Bag of chips called "Rusty Pipes""

And why did it decide to put some of the chips into a weird clay bucket?  These things are so fun.

This one looks more like the text is saying "pussies" again?

Oh shit I almost peed my pants... this is hilarious!  Grin Grin Grin  A bag of Rusty Pipes anyone?  Grin Grin Grin

dumpster fire being burning:

SEC Claims All of Ethereum Falls Under US Jurisdiction
In a civil complaint against a crypto influencer, the SEC suggested that it believes the U.S. government has jurisdiction over all Ethereum transactions.
https://decrypt.co/110107/sec-ethereum-us-jurisdiction

SEC lawsuit claims jurisdiction as ETH nodes are 'clustered' in the US
https://www.fxstreet.com/cryptocurrencies/news/sec-lawsuit-claims-jurisdiction-as-eth-nodes-are-clustered-in-the-us-202209200404

Now that ethereum has decentralized itself, the U.S. Government does have jurisdiction. And opportunity to regulate it as they wish. Good Job, Vitalik.

All the ETH fanbois are going to cash out and invest in Bitcoin. Ween Ween.

I agree from a different perspective.

Getting our energy needs from oil and gas is the problem. Bitcoin mining could be powered by green energy. We could produce more than enough green energy for all our needs if big oil wasn't screwing everyone over by manipulating politicians in their favor.

Sorry, but this is wrong.
Other than some exceptions, only Microplastic is doing severe damage to the maritime environment, as well as to human health (if you're a seafood eater).
Microplastic isn't even filtered out by cleaning systems sufficiently, because it's no more floating at the top of waters. It's already in fish excrements, blood etc. and in case you didnt know this already, a very large part of maritime MP is originating from washout of synthetic fabric (fleece jackets), with no chance of getting that stuff out of the water again.
But overall, it's very appreciated that something is being done against pollution  Cool

It's very important to know TA for btc price...  btc just fell to get liquidation points... There was a liquidations range between 17800 and 18700 . In this range more than 10 billion liquidation done only with BTC and you can think for other coins also.. or it would have been a liquidity rule that points would have liquidated.  The market always goes against us...so I am also expecting a pump from 18K range...

Here are some pictures worth many words, all data taken from https://www.bitfinex.com/order-book/?pair=BTCUSD

For those of you who might think that there aren't many BTC left on the exchanges to purchase, there seems to be plenty on Bitfinex.

Next, we have an unusual gap on the order books, cannot seem to get a clearer view directly from the exchange.

Finally, a large purchase order lower than before but this time broken up into 2 parcels. Previously in July there was an order at $12,5 for 804 BTC.
