Brits are Turning to Bitcoin as the Pound Plummets Against the US Dollar

According to a CNBC report, the pound sterling plunge was brought on by the U.K. government's announcement of a radical economic plan in a bid to boost the growth of the economy. According to analysts, the plan, which includes tax cuts, "spooked" investors causing GBP to fall around 3.5% against the dollar.

The fall is the closest GBP has come to dollar parity since 1985. While Britain's new prime minister Liz Truss prepares measures to address the situation, the Bank of England (BoE) has warned that the British economy is likely already in a recession, according to the report.

Meanwhile, Bloomberg notes that the fall not only had an impact on investors but has likely also dented the U.K. government's reputation internationally. According to Bloomberg analysts, the "self-inflicted financial crisis" now has international players worried about Britain's ability to pay its debts. They add that homeowners and businesses will likely bear the brunt of the distrust.

Must people don’t know how to grow their Crypto assets and portfolios there are very good strategies which can get one on profit as the market gets bearish or bullish but very few people know about these strategies.

I repeat. Ignore the talking heads and look at CDS spreads instead.

Big guys want to wage war. But they don't pay for the war with their own money. Instead they take money for the war from your pocket. Search for "war bonds" to understand what I mean. So if you don't want to buy war bonds, which never was profitable, buy BTC for USD.

I did a quick view of your posts.  Let us know more about you and your situation, but surely you don't need to give away very many personal details if you are trying to keep them somewhat private.. that is understood.. but if you are still in Russia and using bitcoin, then that would be on the ground facts, especially if there might be some recent changes that make it easier for government and institutions to use bitcoin (and shitcoins) for cross border transactions.. but maybe logistics for individuals inside the country might not be as easy to use bitcoin because you need to find a counter party.. unless it is just buying bitcoin.. ...

For sure, in this thread, we are not very much interested in shitcoins, unless you attempt to connect your discussion to bitcoin.. yet of course, if you have facts on the ground that some shitcoins are better or easier to use in Russia (if that's where you are at), then I suppose it would be relevant to real world usage... if it is very easy to accomplish using...

Maybe no matter the country, there is some city specifics in terms of whether there are meet ups or people using bitcoin (and businesses).  Maybe El Salvador is unique in that regard? since a lot of other countries have mixed messages in terms of how acceptable it is to transact in bitcoin. .and maybe depending on local practices (back to meet ups being available in the area... which would be more in the bigger cities rather than rural areas).

By the way, we know that governments use various kinds of debt to fund wars, but they also engage in Money printing for similar kinds of purposes, and in some senses the money printing denigrates the whole money and taxes everyone who is relying upon the value of that extra printed money when it is printed without responsibility.. so even though I agree with you about the buying of bonds is just one of the vehicles used to fund various kinds of current debt, future debt and just the rolling over of debt that is maturing that either needs to be rolled over or it has to be paid off .. the attractive interest rates on US Bonds is an attempt to give Americans (and/or whoever else is buying those bonds) the ability to directly invest in solidifying the debt.. In the olden days, governments become worried about issuing too much debt and they would need to fund themselves through taxes, and maybe funding sources are getting exhausted in a lot of directions, currently.. including short-falls in tax revenues.. but tax rates have gone down even though surely people complain about taxes, too....

Maybe the summary is: "It's complicated." ?  even though on a personal level you are not going to get arguments from guys in these here parts in regards to the benefits of buying bitcoin (and hedging your bets with bitcoin).. and surely bitcoin likely is still going to have troubles when all systems come crashing down, so there seems to be some value in NOT wishing for the various incumbent systems to crash too quickly in order that more and more bitcoin systems can come into place and more and more people can get used to using various bitcoin systems... fuck shitcoins, even though they are going to be present as well, but we know who is king daddy, don't we?  I hope so.

There are other categories, too - such as:

OG bitcoiner:  "I prefer that you go up, but since I am in 20x to 1,000x profits (give or take) I will deal with whatever you have to throw at me"

The BTC price is at $19,360.75 right now. The price has dropped by $35.14 (0.18%).
In the last 24 hours the price has dropped by $68.44 (0.35%).

By the way.. Could we (more than just the royal one) stave off some of the Armageddon depictions of the situation room. so that we can have a MOAR smoother and MOAR better and MOAR comfieeee.. transition into the death of fiat?.. We (royal, and perhaps beyond that?) don't want no pension systems going to zero and grandmas eating all the catfood..... me and my lil precious are sensitive to the needs of no coiner and low coiner normies - especially prior to their transition into coiner status (aka currently pre-coiners).... at least me is a sensitive one (if you had not noticed how sensitive is this here kitty cat?)... my lil precious doesn't seem to give too many shits whether Armageddon takes place or no.
