Fuck Bitfinex, seriously.
You open a multiple positions and then it lumps them into one large position and you either have to cancel/claim the whole order. You cant just close each order seperately.
Retarded.
You can sell / buy and the position will be affected Smart.

I've been thinking the same. Where is the OP?He told us he was going to be frozen or cryogenized, and post a pic of a penguin inside a ice-cube. You can find that post, like 3days ago, during the 350$ dip.

You can sell / buy and the position will be affected Smart. Still that makes managing your orders really confusing, why would they not list them seperately so you can monitor each position...

I wonder what Bitstamp knew when they posted all those 'to the moon' posts. That a bunch of wires hit their accounts?
There are some bigger news about this, this is too mental pump to be just a pump. Blockchain guy tweeted he is so excited too yesterday or so, there is something going on and we've been played to sell them cheap coins (well, I didn't sell them cheap though I haven't bought ones too, we as community). Well do ya thunk ... duh?? I said way, way back Wall St. wanted cheap coins and you dumb fucks handed them over on a platter. Trading bears you call yourselves, you are just short term idiots in the biggest mega bull market EVER ... and you just got played like little twerps. TL;DR ... "china" == wall st. I was thinking something... since you love me so much, would you marry me?

In my understanding, a trade happens at price X when the seller thinks that X is a bit too high, and the buyer thinks that X is a bit too low.
During periods when the sentiment of all buyers and all sellers about the item's value is unchanging, trading quickly stops and the market price remains mostly constant.
Conversely, when something causes the general sentiment to change, the market price changes, and volume usually increases -- because each trader usually changes his evaluation by a different amount and at a different time, so the above condition is often satisfied, possibly more than once for the same pair of traders. (If all the traders changed their perceptions in perfect synchronism, the implicit market price -- that is, the midpoint of the ask/bid spread -- would change without any trades.)
If these premises are correct, then what is happening now at Huobi? For the last 4 hours, I see quite substantial volume (~5kBTC/hour), but the price just wanders in the narrow range between 3230 and 3280 yuan, about 4 dollars up or down from the midpoint.
What is going on in the heads of those traders? Why can't they find the equilibrium? Their perceptions could not be changing constantly like that, up and down by a few dollars, at random. Are their robots locked in a bogus feedback loop, each endlessly over-reacting to the small over-reactions of the other robots?
Your premises are super correct. You are beginning to get it.

Bitcoin traders are some of the most retarded people on the planet. I have a picture in my head of them sitting at a Fisher Price toy hitting the different colours with a plastic hammer to buy and sell Bitcoin.

One position can have many many trades (buys and sells). Would you like to have them all in one like it is now or many many positions?
