well I am ¾ Italian and fillippo is kind of Italian for Philip so Quote this 1 more time.
If I philipma1957 live into the year 2062 and past Jan 01 of 2062 to be precise:
I will move the 0.0105 BTC into JJG's
BTC address of his choice
If JJG is dead by Jan 01 of 2062
I will move it into the BTC address of fillippone's choice.
BTW I will be 105 years old in Jan of 2062 so good luck on collecting the gift as I do not think I will get there.
It would be a great reason to give away the gift.
Thanks!
I already set a reminder on my calendar. Addy in PM.
I won’t disclose my chances of being alive in 2065,
Well, it looks like you already need reading glasses, since we were talking about 2062 not 2065, so hopefully you put your reminder in your calendar properly.
but that makes me think about the following: what does it qualifies us as “alive”?
Posting on the WO Observer seems like a good proxy. Any other idea? What is the meaning of life without posting on the WO?
That's a good point.
Your such a good sport...
*You’re
Fair enough.
And of course I miss @proudhon.
@proudhon, where art thou?
You're just worried about the receipt of your "proudhon gift."
I get the sense that you do not "really" and "truly" like him.
Of course I miss him primarily for his bet:
<...>
Target price: 170,000 USD
Not bad.
Bullish.
My body is ready.
Money is going to leave the bitcoin ecosystem over the next 12 months (and forever after on average). Bitcoin will never reach that price. If it does, I'll buy $10k worth and give it to you.
Quoted for reference.
Please someone help me remember when it happens!
But I liked the lateral humor and the contrarian stance. Also bearing in mind he probably has the biggest stash here on the WO adds some humor to his posts.
Not easy to know if he might have any BTC or not...Presumptively he has enough BTC to consider that the equivalent of 0.05882353 BTC (in other words $10k at the price of $170k) would not be any meaningful skin off his back to give those over to an internet stranger.. unless maybe you and he might happen to be the same peep?
I have dreamed for a long time that if I live I can own a lot of bitcoins one day but I think that somehow I don't know how to accumulate and earn a lot of bitcoins, but I dream that one day I will know and have a lot of bitcoins. I can own it.
What do you consider to be "a lot of BTC?"
It seems to me that you may well not need as many BTC as you might think that you need, and one of the things is to get the fuck started sooner rather than later... and sure even though stacking $100 per week seems like a decently good amount right now, yet even for peeps who don't have $100 per week for stacking, the they still likely witness decently good results, especially if they might have a relatively long investment timeline that might go 20-30 years or longer...
In 2043 or 2053, you may well be quite impressed by how many BTC you have relative to people who might have delayed their BTC stacking a lot more than you... and surely there are a lot of folks in the world who are either no coiners are low coiners.. perhaps more than 99% of the world's population.
[...]
I am quite likely not going to be holding my breath for any of this, even though I do see why some people are getting bored, and maybe they feel that they already accumulated enough BTC in these prices, which maybe it could be the case, but being more than $1k below the 200-week moving average (
at $27,498 right now) does not seem to be a very healthy place in order to have a further break downwardly.. but hey, breaking down (if it is possible) might end up shaking some weak hands, if it does not end up recking some bearwhale twats prior to their ability to be able to buy back the coins that they had ended up selling in such desires to try to get the price of cornz to go downity rather than uppity or sideways.
@JJG seems Saylor and yourself are on the same page:
I knew that he was stealing my work (ideas).

+1. Language is important.
Sorry Jay, fillippone's got you there. And notice the type of apostrophe he's using: it's slanted (’), not straight ('), meaning he's either using a Mac or he's Nullius' alter-account. Either way, kudos to him.
Upon first read, I had not even noticed the " ' " direction.
