I am not sure how many shits can be given about the 200-day moving average, but the same statement about closing higher than seems to be true in regards to the 200-week moving average too,

I think the 208-week MA is worth giving quite a few shits over. Always has. May it ever be so.

Aren't you coming out a swinging.

What's got the picnic bear all crumpling?

Market action. For once in recent memory, the (usually excessive) time spent here per iota of unique insight was worth the squeeze. To wit:

We upped.
I couldn't find causative news in the popular press.
Came here to see if anyone knew why.
Yes.
Courts slapped Gentsler.
I heard it here first.
Yay!

the WO was the Bitcoin news outlet for me back in the days, when there weren't any other actual (daily) news sources around yet

I would argue that WO has become a very efficient breaking-news aggregator.

I would like to say that I'm extremely happy that the amount of farmers decreased so significantly in the WO recently ...

Does someone know how this fantastic result was achieved?

Whoever did this, I would like to send you a huge THANK YOU for bringing us back this great experience  Kiss

7 pages... I've read a bit of it when it started. Can someone give us a TL;DR?

People were tired of farming-bots so they asked Satoshi Nakamoto to shut them all down. Forum clean now. Thats all I got.
Merited because I didn't know Satoshi himself had taked action.
Thank you Nakamoto-san!

FUCK THAT SHIT. THIS FORUM HAS NO FREEDOM OF SPEECH OR EXPRESSION. Everyone should be alowed to post whatever he desires. It was better to see some news about this and that cause not everyone goes to X Force for what is new. Taking joy from people left and right. Fuck that dumbass whinging Tildah

I don't know why any member (bot, farmer, twit, twat and/or otherwise) would be scared off by daddy dildah...

but whatever, it is what it is in terms of it seeming to have become a lot quieter in these here parts in recent times.

<spiteful arab whinging>
😂😂😂 says he didnt read the post 😂🤣🤣

Just from the contents, seems like he read it, but difficult to prove beyond making a reasonable inference.. and it seems that even a snot nosed little brat like you (who still has not wiped grandma's milk off his chin) is capable of making reasonable inferences from time to time.

I am not sure how many shits can be given about the 200-day moving average, but the same statement about closing higher than seems to be true in regards to the 200-week moving average too,

Fair enough, but I sense that there is quite a bit that I have been hearing outside of this thread in recent times, and surely I don't have time to be posting in these here parts about everything that I hear and find out about king daddy in udder dee parts.

[edited out]
the WO was the Bitcoin news outlet for me back in the days, when there weren't any other actual (daily) news sources around yet

there have always been other bitcoin-related news sources, and many times the more important angles would end up getting discussed and/or crossed-posted in this thread... .. while at the same times, there have been times in which members get bored and go away and the main things we get are tumble weeds and a few scragglers... so it may be too soon to conclude that members would not return during periods of greater BTC price action.. yet I am not even going to claim that price action is not interesting.. even now, we had a little fake-out uppity last week, but it is not like nothing is going on, since we have been dancing with the lower end of the don't wake me up zone for nearly three weeks.

Well first it was proposed to disable merits in the WO, or directly introducing a general feature to turn off merits in self-created threads. Another proposal was to introduce a separated "WO merit".

AFAIK (see this post) no concrete (technical) action has been taken, but it seems that there are more eyes now on WO, which has scared the merit farmers away a bit. Smiley

Wow!!!!  Only 980 posts and you be toast...

Of course, you will continue to post, but maybe even buddy is posting around 2x the number of Phillipma1957 posts.

So 2,000 hours would be right around early 2024 - but he may well even get you in November or December 2023.

...I believe if we do some changes with merit distributions, it should be applied globally on the forum. Wall Observer should not be an exceptional place to apply special rule of merit distributions. Then other threads will need the same and it will lead to endless story.....

Nope, people say reddit is the front page of the internet but As far as I'm concerned the WO is.

I check that thread first and foremost before anything else including my voicemail on a daily if not hourly basis.

Much news gets correlated there hidden in the mess and disseminated for those able to discern its meaning.

If its news and it didn't hit the WO then its not news in my book.

It feels like we’re back to stable prices as someone puts down a net to capture all the fleeing BTC from the wallets of the lettuce-handed. I would strongly advise against selling any BTC here and I also believe we’re about a month or two away from the market breaking out to the upside on a run for $40K to close out the year.

A little off topic but I think it was 6 years ago I started having some serious work done on my teeth and Today is the Day I had the LAST Implant installed and its finally done!

6 years without a full set of teeth until today!

Man I have 5 implants more crowns and bridges than I can count and have had so many failed bone grafs nightmare extractions and infections since they started drilling into my skull and snapping bones and shoving cow bones in there and literally having 2 guys with fucking 2 foot long chisels and sledge hammers smashing away on my sinus bones until it snapped in half that I can honestly say I never want to see another oral surgeon for the rest of my fucking life!

A lifetime of smoking can cause so much more damage than just your lungs and I struggle with it every day.

Even though I got drunk and smoked a pack friday I haven't had once since. Smiley

Lol, this is definitely a quick plot twist.

It reminds me of another one:

"See fillippone, (not really being called fillippone, but rather my actual name).
Having a daughter lets you connect with your different feminine self, something you don't appreciate with a son: a truly comprehensive and enriching experience."

Then, count to three, 1,2, 3 seconds, the bloke spoke to me with these words of wisdom, stood up and disappeared in the darkness hand in hand with a barely legal stripper.

OMG Didn't they knock you out to do the bone work? That sounds barbaric.

I had all my remaining teeth extracted, a double sinus lift and multiple bone grafts (complete with platelet-enriched plasma injections) in a single session under general anesthesia. It wasn't nearly as bad as I'd expected it to be. I had to subsist on Ensure Plus and margaritas for a week or so and then on mushy food for half a year before my new bones were ready for my 16 implants. Time and money well spent. No bridges or other crap, just 2 zirconium bars, one upper and one lower. Feels like real teeth.

Nope, just local makes quite a large CRACK inside your skull when that bone snaps! Cheesy

Its great having all good teeth though isn't it! Cheesy

Fuck dentures, I went without rather than getting those.
