Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

Going through the last 18 hours of WO reminds me of this: This reminds me of aliens in the "Edge of tomorrow" flick (with T. Cruise and E. Blunt). It was not bad at all, better than expected.

This is daily high minus the open in USD. A nice round 8k would do the trick

This is daily high minus the open in USD. A nice round 8k would do the trick We should not be restricting ourselves to when candles open and close.. but hey I know that there is some kind of need for boundaries. and even though you did not show your source, I hope that those are Bitstamp numbers.. ---.otherwise "someone" (not saying who) might have to batslap you with an egg mcmuffin. Another thing. I am looking at those dates, and none of them really stand out to me as being significant, and part of the deal, once we get into momentum, those amounts just blend together. I recall the move from $4,200-ish on April 1, 2019 to the end of June at $13,880.. and that was significant, even though it did not go straight up. I recall another date, like October 25 (or something like that) 2019.. where the BTC price went from $7,200-ish to $10,200-ish.. in like 12 hours.. and it did not exactly hold and it did not exactly fall exactly on one 12 hour candle, but it was significant. I kind of already thought that $10k in a day had already been achieved and I was kind of looking forward to $20k in a day, and sure, maybe not exactly a day within the parameters of daily openings and closing but some kind of right around one day (or maybe 2 days) period in which the BTC price pretty much went straight up, even though it did not sustain itself... and so maybe in some sense I am disappointed that "technically" we have not even gotten $10k in a day yet, in regards to the delta which seems to be the difference between the lows and the highs within the opening and closing period of the daily candles. So I am not sure exactly what i am wanting to say, except thanks for the chart (table?). and do you have it in a 3-day? which might be more satisfying in order to have had superseded $10k with the delta.. and if that does not work.. what about the weekly?

Yes... or maybe... Okay, I might deserve a Big Mac (muffin) attack. I don't even remember exactly where I downloaded the table but it was likely not from Bitstamp (my short term memory is going). I was busy changing my equation to reflect total daily uppity/downity with no regard for opening price subtracting the daily low from the daily high. so I just came back to post that^ and my wife wants me to spend some quality time with her so I can't work on any three day or one month tables tonight but it will be my first second priority (right after I make my coffee). I fully expect someone else will have beat me to it by then though and probably with proper Bitstamp data and it will be formated way better like those interactive vector diagrams somebody posted earlier. Nighty night.
